Races PRX Sha Tin - HK

Returns to 1650m after being outpaced and beaten over 10 lengths in a 1000m Sha Tin sprint first-up, a run that was well below his best. His previous run was also plain, but the all-weather mile is the key reset: two wins and two placings from ten starts at this track and distance, plus a strong record with Matthew Chadwick, give him the right profile to rebound. Clear rebound chance.

Returns from a lengthy spell after ending last campaign with a ninth at Happy Valley, beaten just over eight lengths after struggling in the straight and not being fully ridden out. Nice trial coming in but others make more appeal.

Returns from a lengthy spell after finishing sixth at Sha Tin in February, beaten two lengths at long odds in a run that had some merit late. Outside chance.

Ran on strongly late when third over 1200m at Happy Valley first-up, beaten two lengths at big odds after having to switch wide for clear running. That followed a half-length win over Call Me Topseed, also at Happy Valley, when he was respected in betting. The 1650m is a query, but Teetan back keeps him in the place mix.

Resumes after a four-month break following a disappointing ninth at this track, beaten nine and a half lengths after making no impression late. His run prior was much better, closing off from the rear for fifth and beaten just under two lengths by Sky Vino. Has a track-and-trip win, but the latest ninth was plain and he must recover his earlier closing form.

Resumes after a four-month break with stronger credentials than his sixth to Definitive last time before a spell suggests, beaten just under three lengths at Happy Valley. Two back he kicked clear and was beaten only a nose by Without Compare, which reads well for this. The all-weather record is strong enough to make him a major player.

Has been safely held in two runs this campaign, most recently ninth at Happy Valley over 1800m when beaten nine and a half lengths and unable to quicken. He was also eighth two back at big odds, so the recent form reads modestly. More a place chance than a win play.

Resumes after a four-month break having ended last campaign with a Class 4 win at Happy Valley, chasing down Charming Legend and scoring by a length after being an outside chance in betting. He had been plain at this venue two back, but his overall profile is still upward, with two wins from seven starts and a solid 1650m record. Wide draw is the query, but he has the right winning profile.

Resumes after a four-month break following a pulled-up effort at this track, where he was under pressure a long way out and gave no response. The run before was also poor, finishing last at Sha Tin and beaten over 16 lengths. Has won at this venue, but recent evidence is a concern.

Improved slightly when seventh at Happy Valley first-up, beaten just over three lengths by Pope Cody after settling midfield. Before the break he was sixth at this track, beaten six and a half lengths, making late ground without ever threatening. Has to turn that into a stronger finish to win.

Resumes after a four-month break off a solid third at this track, beaten two and a half lengths by Talents Ambition after staying on late without seriously threatening. His previous sixth at this venue was also respectable, beaten two lengths by Sky Vino. Reliable enough for exotics, but the win case is thinner.

Backs up after one week following a sixth at Sha Tin, beaten eight lengths by Packing Fighter with no clear excuse supplied. His prior run was an eighth, beaten just under five lengths, so the recent form is not compelling. Purton and barrier 1 help, but recent form leaves him with plenty to find.
