Races PRX Sha Tin - HK

Returns from a lengthy spell after finishing sixth in the G1 New Zealand Derby at Ellerslie, beaten four lengths by Road To Paris as favourite. His win in the G2 Avondale Guineas start prior was high-quality, beating Road To Paris by just under four lengths. Top weight makes it tricky.

Won at this track last start, scoring by a neck from Beauty Crescent after settling midfield and working home evenly when near the top of an open market. He had been safely held over 1000m the run prior, but was favourite there and now comes back to a proven winning setup. Proven at the distance and profiles as a major chance again.

Has finished seventh at both runs this campaign, most recently at this track when unwanted in the market and beaten two and a half lengths by Baby Sakura after making some late ground from the rear.

Returns from a lengthy spell after finishing sixth in the G2 Autumn Classic at Caulfield, beaten two and a half lengths by Single Choice after making solid inroads from well back. He had earlier placed in a BM62 at Pakenham, also from back in the field. Local debut still looks a testing assignment.

Had genuine excuses when ninth behind Celestial Hero at this track last start, settling midfield before being denied a clear run early in the straight and beaten just under four lengths. His previous fourth here over 1200m had merit after working across three wide and sticking on. Solid place claims if he gets clear air.

Returns off a five-week freshening after a strong first-up third at this track, beaten just under a length by Aerovolanic when near the top of betting despite being bumped. His earlier second here came behind Solid State, and his wider profile is excellent with two wins and two places from five starts at this venue. Two wins and two places from five at this track make him the clear one to beat.

Returns from a lengthy spell with an unbeaten two-start record, having won a BM62 at Cranbourne by a long neck from Vaderlee after settling just off the lead and picking up well. His debut win at Seymour also showed natural race sense. New setting is the query, but the raw profile is appealing.

Returns off a five-week freshening after finishing last on the All-Weather over 1650m, beaten over 10 lengths by All Round Winner after being left behind late. His previous third at Happy Valley was better, running on strongly late when unwanted in the market. Prior Happy Valley third was better, but he has to rebound strongly.

Returns from a lengthy spell after finishing fifth at Sandown-Hillside, beaten just over two lengths by Navy Pilot after working into the race but not quite finishing it off. The run prior came in the Listed Michael Moroney (Exford Plate), where he was beaten three and a half lengths at Flemington. Strong chance if ready fresh.

Returns off a five-week freshening after an eighth at this track, beaten two and a half lengths by Aerovolanic after being bumped and fading late. He had won in Class 4 here the run prior, scoring by a nose from Ka Ying Radiance as a well-supported favourite. Has won at this track, but this looks tougher than his Class 4 success.

Has been well beaten in two runs this campaign, most recently second last at Happy Valley over 1650m when beaten over 10 lengths by Solid Win at big odds. He was also ninth there over 1200m the start prior and again lacked market support. Others make much stronger appeal.

Finished seventh first-up at this track over 1200m, beaten just over five lengths by Megastar Heart after coming under pressure late.

Returns off a six-week freshening after finishing second last at this track over 1600m, beaten nine and a half lengths by Packing Fighter with no clear excuse in the run. His previous eighth here was more competitive but still short of the level required. Track-and-distance win helps, but recent figures point to place claims only.

Returned with a fair fifth at Happy Valley over 1200m, beaten just over three lengths by Ace Champion when an outside chance in the betting. His prior sixth at this track came at long odds and was not far away on margin, though he faded late. Capable of a placing if he sharpens second-up.
