Races PRX Sha Tin - HK

Comes off a determined win at this track, settling handy and beating Colourful Winner by a neck while near the top of an open market. His previous run at Happy Valley was sound enough when seventh over 1000m, beaten just over three lengths as favourite. The 3kg claim helps, and he rates as a major winning chance again.

Second-up after a big-odds win at this track, where he worked home from midfield and beat Conrad The Great by a head. The sharp turnaround from a second-last finish in May is obvious, so the market may ask him to confirm it, but he has won twice at around 1200m and Karis Teetan stays aboard. The query is whether he can reproduce it, but a placing is within reach.

Dropped out badly at this track last start, finishing second last and beaten over 18 lengths after struggling from the 600m. His previous ninth in Class 4 at Sha Tin was better on paper, beaten four lengths, but he was unwanted in the market and found no extra late. Hard to build a case until he shows a sharper finish.

Has been safely held in two Class 4 runs this campaign, finishing last at this track last start after fading late and second last at Happy Valley before that. Both came at big prices and he remains unplaced from six starts overall.

Back after five weeks since finishing eighth at Sha Tin over 1400m, beaten four and a half lengths after leading. His run prior reads better, another eighth but only beaten a length and a half when working home evenly.

Back after five weeks following a solid fourth at Sha Tin, beaten two and a half lengths after settling midfield and working home evenly. That was an improvement on his seventh first-up, and he is rated highly on recent form despite still being a maiden after eight starts. Still a maiden, but this looks a suitable chance to break through.

Was solid again at this track last start, making ground for third as favourite and beaten a length by Shinyu Kokoroe. That followed a strong win at this venue when he came from off them to beat Gimme Five by just over a length at big odds. Third-up, proven on the surface and clearly the one to beat.

Resumed with an eighth at Happy Valley over 1000m, beaten just over two lengths but unwanted in the market. His previous race start was a distant second last in Class 4, and he is unplaced from all eight career runs.

Has been around the mark at this track, finishing fourth to Macanese Master last start when beaten just under two lengths after fading late. The run prior was stronger, beaten a head by Shinyu Kokoroe after finishing off well from midfield. The maiden record is the knock, but he has the form to go close.

Closed strongly for third at this track last start, beaten just over a length by Macanese Master after being held up early in the straight. That was a clear rebound from his ninth over 1650m when safely held. Has the finish to place again, though the winning record keeps him below the main hopes.

Was not far away at this track last start, finishing fifth and beaten two lengths by Shinyu Kokoroe at generous odds. His previous sixth at Happy Valley was more plain, but he can race closer when required and gets a light weight with the claim. Still winless, but a minor placing is within range.

Has not threatened at his past two runs, finishing eighth at this track over 1650m and ninth at Happy Valley over 1800m. The lighter 52kg is the main positive, but his overall record is one win from 29 starts and he has managed just one placing from 14 goes at around 1200m. Others make more appeal.
