Races PRX Sha Tin - HK

Second-up after a fair seventh at Happy Valley, where he settled back and closed off evenly under 61kg, beaten just over four lengths by Leading Agility. The stronger reference is his start-prior win at this track, where he beat Come Fast Fay Fay by just over a length after switching wide. Last run was only fair, but he profiles as a place hope.

Returns from a lengthy spell after finishing his Australian campaign with two strong seconds, including a Caulfield placing when working home from well back and beaten just under six lengths. He was also beaten a nose in stakes company the run prior after starting at big odds. First local run is the query, but he has quality.

Resumed with a better run than fifth suggests, beaten a length and a half at this track after being bumped and then held up early in the straight before making ground. He had earlier run third behind Perfectday at this venue, closing well from the rear at big odds. With the 1kg claim and cleaner running, he has a strong winning case.

Returns from a lengthy spell after putting together consecutive Riccarton Park wins, the latest in a BM65 over 1600m when sent out favourite and finishing over the top of them. He had broken through in a Mdn on heavy ground by just under five lengths before that. First local start asks a question, but his finish can carry him into the minors.

Has returned in fine order with two thirds at this track, most recently beaten a neck by Celestial Hero after finishing off strongly. The start prior was another solid closing effort when beaten just under two lengths by Nyx Gluck. Proven at this track and distance, with Alex Badel a major plus.

Finished seventh first-up at this track over 1200m, beaten just over six lengths after fading late and being unwanted in the market. His previous run at Eagle Farm in a BM78 was also a safely held seventh, despite being sent out favourite. Has some distance form, but a sharper finish is required.

Arrives in peak form after two Class 4 wins at this track, most recently leading and clearing out by just under three lengths as favourite from Prestige Come. He had also beaten Tin Fook by just under two lengths the start prior, so the current form line is strong. Class rise is the test, but his track-and-distance profile is strong.

Back after five weeks following a second-last finish at Happy Valley, where he was pressed through a fast-run 1650m and had no extra mid-straight. His prior fifth at this track was more competitive, beaten two and a half lengths after leading and working home evenly. Recent form is too plain to be confident.

Returns from a five-week break after a sixth at Happy Valley, beaten four and a half lengths when back in the field and not getting clear until late. The run prior at this track was similar enough, finishing eighth after early crowding and lacking the turn of foot to challenge. Honest enough for a placing, though 1400m remains a genuine query.

Returns from a two-month break after a plain 12th at this track, beaten just over five lengths by Nyx Gluck when one-paced in the straight. He had run fourth behind Perfectday here the start prior, but tired late after being prominent and working wide. Has track-and-distance wins, but recent output is below the required level.

Returns from a lengthy spell after winning a Hawera Mdn by just under three lengths as a well-supported favourite. That followed a close third at Pukekohe, where he finished strongly after settling just off the lead. First Hong Kong run keeps him to place territory.

Back after five weeks since finishing sixth over 1000m at this track, beaten two and a half lengths at long odds. His first-up 11th was also over 1000m, when settling back and never becoming a winning factor. Recent sprint runs were only fair, so he shapes as a place hope.

Has been well held in two All-Weather runs this campaign, finishing seventh last start behind Bustling City after settling back and making only one-paced ground. He was also sixth behind Kempes the run prior, again beaten just over seven lengths. Unplaced at the distance and hard to make a case.

Returns from a lengthy spell after ending last campaign with a last placing at this track, beaten just over seven lengths and losing touch late. His previous seventh here was also moderate despite travelling handy. Track record is poor, so he must show much more.
