Races PRX Happy Valley - HK

Has been building steadily this campaign and his latest fourth in Class 3 company at this track, beaten three lengths by The Heir, was sound enough after starting as an outside chance. The start prior he was sixth, beaten just under three lengths behind Danica's Choice. Proven at this track and distance and looks a major winning chance.

Returns from a five-month break after a poor 12th at Sha Tin, beaten just over six lengths by Mr Incredible when at long odds and making no progress in the straight. His previous run was no better, finishing last at this track over 1000m after being tailed off. Has past ability, but must lift sharply.

Bounced back strongly at this track last start, coming wide into the straight and finishing off hard to beat Dan Attack by a neck. That was a clear turnaround from his eighth at Sha Tin over 1000m, where he was taken back and never made real ground. Has to prove he can repeat it, but place claims are clear.

Has put together two strong thirds at this track and looks ready to convert. He was beaten only a neck by Brownneedsfurther two runs back after racing wide and staying on well, then finished third to Charming Babe last start, beaten a length and a half. Brings the right recent form and rates on top.

Resumed with an eighth at Sha Tin, beaten five lengths by Mighty Profit after settling midfield, and that run had no clear excuse. His broader profile is better than that, with one win and six places from ten starts overall and two placings from three attempts at this track and distance. Can rebound.

Had some merit in his latest sixth at this track, beaten four lengths by Flashing Fighter after being widest into the home straight. His previous eighth came in Class 3 company behind Danica's Choice, where he could not sustain his run. Third-up and proven at this track and distance, so he can place.

Was unwanted in the market and finished second last at this track last start, beaten four and a half lengths by Malpensa after racing wide and fading late. He had been sixth behind Kwai Chung Talents at this venue the run prior, again at big odds. Others appeal more.

Finished seventh first-up at Sha Tin, beaten just over three lengths by Let's Have Fun after settling rearward, and the weight relief now is a genuine help. The concern is that his start prior was an eighth in Class 3 company at Sha Tin when unwanted in betting and losing touch late.

Was safely held on debut at Sha Tin, finishing tenth and beaten nine lengths by Let's Have Fun after making no impression late. He was big odds there, so the market gave little guide toward an immediate breakthrough. Weight relief helps, but he must improve sharply.

Makes his debut from barrier two for David A Hayes and is a $36,000 weanling purchase. With no official race form, the assessment has to remain measured, and the trainer's debut figures supplied are modest rather than compelling. Place hope only until he shows race-day form.

Arrives in strong order after winning at this track last start, edging Unstoppaple by a neck when near the top of betting. That followed a sound second to Live Wire, beaten a length and a half, so his current preparation has substance. Track-and-distance profile keeps him right in this.

Sprang a surprise in Class 5 company last start, winning by a neck at this track from Falcon Hunter after making a strong move into the straight. He now rises in class, but the weight relief is significant and his two wins and one place from four starts at this track and distance read well. Strong track-and-distance figures give him a place profile.
