Races PRX Happy Valley - HK

Ran on well from the rear when fourth at this track last start, beaten a length and a half behind Akermanis Gold at big odds after being steadied early. The start prior was a fifth behind Blossomy, beaten just over four lengths. Has a 1650m placing profile and must be included for exotics.

Returns from a lengthy spell after ending his last campaign with a sixth at this track in Class 3, beaten four and a half lengths behind All Round Winner. He had been seventh behind Win Method the run prior when near the top of betting. Hard to line up on the back of some plain trials coming in.

Worked home evenly when eighth at this track first-up, beaten just over three lengths behind Happy Smile after being bumped at the start. His previous run was a plain ninth in Class 3, beaten just over six lengths behind Thriving Brothers at long odds. Drawn the inside, but others make more appeal.

Returns from a four-month break after a tenth at Sha Tin, beaten just under five lengths behind Silver Spurs after settling back. Before that he was fourth at this venue, beaten a length and a half behind Holmes A Court when making steady late ground. Not out of this despite a disappointing run to end last campaign.

Closed off nicely for fifth at this track last start, beaten a length and a half behind Akermanis Gold, and that followed another fifth here when less than two lengths from Mighty Steed. Proven at this track and distance, so he shapes as a major danger.

Was safely held when tenth at this track first-up, beaten just under five lengths behind Happy Smile after working home only evenly. The run prior was better, finishing sixth and only two lengths from Take Action, but he has just one placing from four attempts at this track and distance. A better effort is expected this time.

Was only beaten just under two lengths when fifth at this track last start behind Happy Smile, having gone around near the top of an open market. That followed a Sha Tin win over Lucky Year at long odds, so the recent form has substance. Distance record and rider claim keep him prominent.

Finished eighth at this track first-up behind Amazing Gaze, beaten six and a half lengths after fading late. His previous run was also below the mark, finishing ninth behind Blossomy when beaten seven lengths at big odds. Hard to have off the fresh effort.

Returns from a three-month break after finishing seventh at Sha Tin, beaten three and a half lengths behind Rising Phoenix at big odds. His prior run was a second-last behind Come Fast Fay Fay, though the margin was only four lengths. Not to be discounted with Atzeni sticking from the trials.

Finished last at this track first-up over 1200m, beaten just under six lengths behind Brownneedsfurther and unwanted in the market. The previous run was also last, beaten over 10 lengths behind Vigor Eye after losing touch. Others make far more appeal.

Returns from a five-month break after finishing last at Sha Tin Aw behind Leaping Star, where he was well held after fading late. His previous effort was much better, a fourth behind Yoda's Choice at big odds, beaten just under three lengths. Earlier fourth was better, but the maiden record is a clear concern.
