Races SRX Canberra

Comes around quickly after finishing last in a BM66 at Wagga, beaten just under four lengths after jumping awkwardly and racing wide throughout. Her Corowa run prior was also plain when second last and unwanted in the market, so the recent pattern is a concern. Place claims only if she finds her better 1000m form.

Arrives in winning form after scoring at Cootamundra over 1200m, beating Jazz All Knight by just over a length and finishing with something in hand. He had already won a BM50 at Canberra Acton, so the campaign is building well. Back to 1000m is a query, but winning form is good form and McDougall's booking is a big tick.

Broke through in a Mdn at Newcastle last start, beating Capdiva by just under a length after tracking the speed and proving strongest late. His Kembla Grange third prior had merit after being hampered at the start, and he is now third-up with one win and one placing from four starts at around 1000m. Lightly raced and with his upside, there's no reason why he can't repeat the dose.

Returns from a lengthy spell after finishing fourth at Corowa, beaten a length and a half as a well-backed runner after leading on soft ground. He had won at the same venue the start before, beating King Czar by a long neck, so there was form last campaign. Others look better placed fresh.

Was far from disgraced in a BM65 at this track last start, leading and finishing fifth behind Brutal Belle, beaten just under two lengths. She had earlier run third in a BM66 at Wagga, beaten a length by Pietro Road, and that line includes a recent edge over La Stiava. Racing well and can be in this for a very long way.

Was second last first-up in a BM65 at this track, beaten five and a half lengths behind Brutal Belle, with the lost rein or whip near the 200m adding some context without completely excusing the run. Her previous campaign included a Class 2 fourth at Sapphire Coast when making ground over 1200m. A rough place hope at best.

Had a case to be marked up at this track last start, racing wide throughout in a BM65 before finishing seventh, beaten just over four lengths behind Brutal Belle. Her Goulburn fifth in a BM66 prior was similar on margin but sound enough, and she does have a good record on firm ground. Capable of sneaking into the placings.

Can rebound sharply third-up after a better-than-it-looks Class 2 run at this track, where she was held up at straightening before finishing last over 1300m. Her first-up fourth at this venue was more encouraging, beaten two and a half lengths, and she now returns to 1000m with a win at the trip. Back to this trip with Boudvillain booked, and a much better effort is on the cards.

Returns from a lengthy spell after a consistent autumn campaign, last seen running third at Sapphire Coast when beaten a length and a half as favourite. She had also gone under narrowly at Queanbeyan over 1200m as an odds-on chance, which underlines her honesty but also the winning knock. Could run well fresh without being easy to tip.

Her Wagga BM66 failure can be forgiven to a point, as she raced wide throughout before finishing last behind Pietro Road. The start prior she was a well-supported favourite in a Class 1 at Queanbeyan and beat Media Coverage by a neck, showing the right competitive edge. Disappointed last start but her win prior was very good and a return to that level can see her back on winning terms.

Finished seventh at Scone last start, beaten just under three lengths after making solid inroads from a rearward spot, but the no-excuse tag keeps the assessment measured. Her fifth there prior came at long odds and she is unplaced from two starts this season. Recent figures suggest he needs to improve.
