Had excuses in a BM65 at this track last start, finishing fifth behind Zonkstar after being held up around the home turn and beaten just under four lengths. That was a better effort than his seventh at Kembla when big odds and unable to quicken. Looking to others.

Continued a consistent campaign when second at this track over 1600m on soft ground, beaten just under a length by Alabama Charm after being held up passing the 250m. He had won a Wagga Mdn by a nose from Hold This the run prior and has been respected in the market. Hit the line strongly there and now out in distance, he can go one better.

Returns off a five-week let-up after another strong placing at this venue, finishing second to Star Turn Dancer and beaten a neck as favourite after jumping awkwardly. She had also flashed home for second here on soft ground two back. Been back to the trials since a narrow defeat here last start and she looks set to go one better.

Worked into third at this track over 1600m last start after beginning slowly and being held up passing the 250m, so the beaten four lengths can be treated with some context. Her previous fifth in a Class 2 at Goulburn was also sound from the back. Finished behind Ring Of Fire there, but the rise in trip should help and a forward showing is on the cards.

Has been fifth in both runs this campaign, most recently beaten just over eight lengths in a Newcastle Mdn when slow away and only picking off tired runners. His prior fifth over 1250m was fair enough without threatening. Straight out in trip now and he creates interest with Boudvillain on board.

Was last at Hawkesbury in a Mdn last start, beaten just under five lengths by My Cartouche after an early block and unwanted in the market. His previous fourth at this track over 1600m was stronger, beaten just under two lengths behind Avalon Lady. Out in trip, back in grade and McDougall going on is a recipe for success.

Was bumped at the start and finished last in a Kembla Grange Mdn, beaten nine and a half lengths at long odds behind Nomadic. That followed a Goulburn run where he was beaten over 17 lengths after making no late impression. First try at 2000m adds another hurdle.

Backs up quickly after finishing seventh in a Wagga Mdn, beaten three and a half lengths by Masakari after beginning awkwardly. He was well-supported favourite at Cootamundra the run before but could only run sixth after having his chance. Has to improve at his first 2000m attempt.

Was second last at this track over 1600m, beaten nine and a half lengths by Alabama Charm after travelling handy and failing to muster before a late check. Her first-up eighth here in a Mdn was also only moderate despite some early interference. Others appeal more.

Closed off fairly for fourth in a Moruya Mdn over 1650m, beaten just over four lengths by Reveillon after being slow to begin. She had market respect at Wagga before finishing seventh, with interference around the 300m adding some context. Others are preferred.

Improved sharply at his second start when third in a Hawkesbury Mdn over 1800m, beaten just under a length by My Cartouche after settling handy and fighting on well. His Newcastle debut was plain, but the market was far warmer last time and the effort matched it. Looks suited out in trip again now and he can land the knockout blow.
