Races CRP Mackay

Won a BM65 at Townsville last start, beating Singular by just over half a length on soft ground after being near the top of betting. She had been third in a Class 3 at Bowen the run prior, beaten a length by Diamond Lucy, and her record around 1300m reads strongly. Top weight is the query, but she is a genuine winning chance.

Made it three wins from eight starts when edging out Adranos in a BM55 at Rockhampton last week, and that followed a narrow second to Sujeed in the same grade. The quick back-up is the main query, but she is rock-solid at this trip, handles soft ground and Sean Cormack has three wins and a placing from four rides on her. Quick back-up is the query, but she looks the one to beat.

Scored well in a Class 1 at Cloncurry last start, beating Cinchicated by just over three lengths as a well-supported favourite despite covering ground. That was a clear response to a fourth at Ewan when beaten just over six lengths in BM65 grade. In the mix on best.

Back after five weeks on the sidelines, he is worth some leeway for being last at Bowen after racing wide throughout and greenly in the straight. His debut win at this track over 1100m had merit, beating Stormybob by just over a length after finishing strongly. Debut win here was good, but 1300m is new and he must improve.

Worked home from well back for fourth in an Open at Rockhampton last start, beaten two and a half lengths on soft ground despite starting at big odds. She had earlier run third to Touch Base at Bowen, also beaten two and a half lengths, after beginning awkwardly. Place claims.

Broke through in a Mdn at Cloncurry last start, leading and beating Oracle Of Omaha by a length and a half at long odds. That was a sharp turnaround from being beaten a long way at Twin Hills, so the form still has a patchy look. Can feature.

Finished well held in a BM55 at Townsville five days ago after hanging in and racing keenly, and that leaves him with work to do. The start prior had more merit when beaten three lengths in a Mdn after settling back, finishing strongly and striking interference late. His previous effort had merit, but a maiden with no placings is hard to sell strongly.

Placed in a Rockhampton Mdn last start, finishing third and beaten three lengths on soft ground after starting at generous odds. The run prior at Kilcoy was plain, as she began slowly, covered ground and offered little when seventh. Others appeal more.
