Returned to winning form in a BM55 at Rockhampton, pressing forward and holding off I Want It All by a neck when near the top of betting. The rise to BM60 company is the main task now, but he has already won at this venue and has two wins from four goes around this distance range. The rise in grade tests him, but he has a genuine place case.

Was beaten over 12 lengths in Open grade at Emerald, with stewards noting he raced wide early, got keen and suffered interference late. His Twin Hills second to Sir Rocket before that was sound, and dropping from Open level helps, but he now comes to a harder meeting and recent winning form is missing. Has to find much more.

Has placed in both runs this campaign, most recently third to Intrepid Lad in a BM55 at Rockhampton when well-supported favourite and beaten just over a length. He was also good at Townsville two back at longer odds, working home from well back. In the mix.

Comes in with winning momentum after beating Mordecai in a BM55 at Bowen, following a stronger victory over Khamis in BM50 grade at Ewan. This is a firmer BM60 test at a harder meeting, and the draw is wider, but he handles wet ground and is unbeaten in two starts with Mitch Goring. Rises to BM60, but his form is the strongest and he looks the one to beat.

Backs up quickly after a fifth in a BM65 at Townsville, beaten just over two lengths at generous odds despite racing wide through the middle stages. He had earlier run second in BM65 company at Gordonvale, again after covering ground, so the drop into this grade suits. Track record is the knock, but he is a place player.

Has been out of form, finishing eighth in a BM65 at Rockhampton when beaten just over nine lengths, albeit with a bump at the start and interference near the 300m. His prior Quality run at Townsville was also plain and he was unwanted in betting. A notable lift is required.

Produced a much better effort in BM65 grade at Bowen, finishing fourth to Beta Better and beaten a length and a half after racing wide around the first turn. His previous BM70 run at Ewan was poor after missing the start, so the class drop is important. Shorter trip is the query, but he has each-way claims.

Was better at Townsville last start, fourth in a Class 1 and beaten only a length after beginning slowly and meeting interference around the home turn. That was a clear improvement on his Cloncurry seventh, and he gets weight relief for this. First go at this trip keeps him to an outside chance.

Has finished fourth at her past two starts, most recently behind Airwaves in a BM55 at Bowen when beaten two and a half lengths. She had also been sound at Ewan in Class 4 company, but the step into BM60 grade asks for a little more and she has been unplaced in all four runs this season.

Gets a more suitable set-up after finishing fourth in Class 3 grade at Bowen, beaten just over five lengths over 1280m. His Townsville eighth before that was better than it looks on paper, only three and a half lengths away after being unwanted in the market. Recent figures are better than the form line suggests.

Ran third in a BM50 at Cloncurry, beaten just over two lengths after being checked near the 300m, so there was merit in the effort. Her Ewan run in BM70 grade prior was plain, but she now gets significant weight relief and has a solid wet-track and turf profile. Handles wet ground and looks a major threat from the low draw.

Returns from a five-month break after ending last preparation with a sixth at Longreach, where he made late ground after beginning awkwardly and being steadied. His previous Rockhampton run behind Intrepid Lad also had merit from back in the field, but he resumes without a trial comment and remains winless from his distance attempts. May need the run.

Has been safely held in Mdn company at Townsville, finishing fifth last start on soft ground and beaten five and a half lengths after an eighth by the same margin the run before. The quick back-up is a query and her only prior attempt around this trip produced no placing. Hard to make a strong case.
