Made ground from well back when fifth to Cochrane over 1000m at Cloncurry, beaten four and a half lengths, and the rise to 1300m is supported by a solid overall record around this distance. The run prior was a distant third in a Quality at Mt Isa as a well-supported favourite after jumping awkwardly and racing keenly. Proven around 1300m, but recent margins leave him more an each-way hope.

Slowly away at Townsville and finished off strongly from an impossible position when fifth to Hartshorn, beaten just over four lengths on soft ground. He had done something similar at Emerald the start prior, again missing the kick before making late inroads. Can run on into the minors if he begins cleanly.

Won well at Cloncurry last start, holding a clear margin to beat I'M Zac by just over a length as favourite. That followed a narrow second in a Quality at Ewan, where he travelled just behind the speed and was pipped late by Yes Dream. Honest current form puts him firmly among the place chances.

Bounced back strongly at Cloncurry, sitting handy and digging in to beat Deferential by just over half a length. That followed a wide early run when ninth behind Spirit Meister at Atherton, so the last-start turnaround has substance. Drawn awkwardly, but current form makes him a genuine place hope.

He has won five times on wet tracks, owns a good record at this venue, and is already proven at 1300m. Harder meeting now, but recent form makes him the one to beat.

Before that she was beaten a head at this track over 1560m, travelling well and only just missing. Strong 1300m record gives her an outside place chance.

Returns from a five-week freshening after finishing eighth at Atherton, beaten just over five lengths, with no clear excuse. He was also eighth at Birdsville two runs ago when slow away and wide throughout as favourite. In the mix.

Responded sharply at Innisfail last start, overcoming a squeeze at the start before lengthening well to beat Sigiriya Rock by just over a length. The start prior he was only moderate behind Raetihi at Cloncurry, beaten three and a half lengths over 1600m. Has to turn the tables on Raetihi from two back, but the latest win gives him strong claims.

Returns from a five-month break after a very consistent last campaign, ending with a nose second to Sideshow Frankie at Moranbah when odds-on in a BM55 after racing keenly and being bumped late. His previous run was a dominant win at this track, beating Batemans Bay by just under four lengths. The 1300m win record is the query, but his best form is good enough.

He had won a BM50 at Cloncurry the run prior, racing wide throughout but still beating Wolf Point by a length and a half. Quick back-up helps, but his 1300m record keeps him to place claims.

Settled well back and made only limited ground when second last in a BM55 at Innisfail, beaten just over four lengths at generous odds. Two back he was fourth in a Class 6 at Twin Hills, beaten seven and a half lengths in a small field. Weight relief helps only a little.
