Races CR Northam

Returns from a one-month let-up after finishing eighth at this track, beaten seven lengths, when he settled rearward and failed to quicken despite being close enough on the turn. The run prior was better, winning a 3yo+ Maiden at Belmont Park on soft ground by a long neck from Call Me Invincible at odds. Maiden win two back helps, but a sharp rebound is required.

Eased back from mid-week grade after finishing seventh in a 3yo+ NMW1Y at Belmont Park, beaten just over seven lengths after being in touch and then lacking the dash to challenge. His previous fourth behind Perfume Princess was sound, beaten just over a length at generous odds, and William Pike is a positive booking. Pike rides now and he can bounce back to form coming back in trip.

Led at this track last start and looked to have his chance before being swamped late into fifth, beaten just over two lengths when near the top of betting. He had earlier run second here behind Hello Veneta after racing just off the lead, and he has one win and two placings from nine tries around 1400m. Won't be far away.

Broke through at Bunbury six days ago, winning a 3yo+ Maiden by just under a length from Lexan'Ruby after settling back and working into it strongly. That followed a fifth at Bunbury, also in 3yo+ Maiden grade, when she was only beaten two lengths despite racing keenly through the middle stages. On the quick turnaround and can repeat the dose.

Drops back from Saturday company after a better run than seventh reads in a 3yo+ 1 Metro Win at Belmont Park, where she raced wide throughout and was beaten just under three lengths by Streak Of God. Her fourth behind Juniper two runs ago was stronger, beaten only a long neck when well found in betting. Racing in good order and she can bounce back to winning ways in this suitable assignment.

Comes off a Mingenew 2yo+ Class B win where she was heavily backed into very short odds-on territory and beat Danea Rock by two and a half lengths. This is harder than that country assignment, although her Belmont Park run fresh in a 4yo+ NMW1Y was better than sixth looks after she charged home at long odds. This is harder, so she appeals more as a wider exotics chance.

Just missed at this track last start, beaten a head by Valanne Dawn after travelling well, covering ground and being pipped on the post. That was a sharp improvement on her Kalgoorlie eighth in a 3yo+ Class 2, where she was wide and offered little, and her record around 1400m reads well enough for this. Looks the one they have to beat.

Second-up after running last of six at Bunbury over 1200m, where he was slow away, steadied near the 400m and finished only moderately when unwanted in the market. Two back he was second last in a 2yo+ Class 1 at Belmont Park on heavy ground, beaten five and a half lengths. Long-term form is plain and others appeal more.
