Drops back from Saturday company after finishing 11th in a NMW1Y over 1600m at Ascot, beaten four lengths after beginning slowly and settling well back. The start prior was a plain eighth in an Open at Carnarvon, beaten over 12 lengths, so the recent profile is mixed. Top weight tempers it, but he can run into a minor cheque.

Went close in a BM56+ at Collie last start, finishing third and beaten just over a length after being steadied near the 600m. That followed a Class 3 win at Northam, where he beat Vancouver Storm at long odds and showed he could sustain a run. The trip is the query, but he is racing well enough to win.

Led and won a BM64+ at Collie last start, beating Worcester by a length and a half at generous odds, which is clearly his best recent piece of form. The concern is the start prior, when last in a Class 1 at Ascot and unwanted in the market, and his overall strike-rate is only two wins from 45 starts. A repeat is required.

Eased from Saturday company after finishing fifth in a 1 Metro Win at Ascot, beaten just over six lengths after beginning slowly and keeping on from well back. His previous BM66+ run at Ascot was sound, beaten two and a half lengths after being restrained early, and the drop to this level is significant. Clear chance to capitalise at BM44+ level.

Returns from a lengthy spell after ten months away and has had four trials, with the latest a third at Lark Hill that should bring her on. She was fifth at Queanbeyan when last seen and had been safely held at Canberra before that, so her recent race record still has to be treated cautiously. Race form before the break was plain, so improvement is essential.

Backs up quickly after finishing seventh in a Class 3 at Ascot on soft ground, beaten just under six lengths and unwanted in the market. The run prior was also plain in a 1 Metro Win, where Awesome Force had his measure, so recent form is the concern. Place claims if the quick back-up works.

Has been safely held in both recent Class 1 runs, finishing eighth at Belmont Park last start after settling rearward and failing to quicken, then ninth at Ascot start prior when never a factor from back in the field. Easier company helps, but others bring stronger evidence.

Drops from Saturday company after finishing second last in a 1 Metro Win at Ascot, beaten seven and a half lengths after being unable to finish the race off. His previous fourth in a Mdn at this track had more merit, as he made ground on soft going and was held up late. Still winless, yet this looks a softer place chance.
