That is easier company now, and his prior Bunbury win in NMW1Y grade over Galway Shawl showed he still has a sharp turn of foot. Two from two at this track and Webster's 3kg claim keep him in the mix.

Brings the strongest recent profile after a fifth in Class 3 grade at Ascot, beaten three and a half lengths by Tribal Ruler after leading and being run down late. She had been pipped by Star Martini at Northam the start prior and is now rated to enjoy the quick back-up. Strong 1100m record and 4kg claim make her the one to beat.

He was also last in a BM68+ at Port Hedland in his previous outing, beaten ten lengths, so the recent figures leave him with ground to make up. A sharper second-up run is required.

He had been closer at Ascot the run prior when sixth in Class 1 grade, beaten two lengths, and has trialled at Lark Hill a few weeks ago. Distance record is useful, but race fitness and recent form remain concerns.

Returns from a five-week let-up after a disappointing ninth in BM58+ grade at Geraldton, beaten just under nine lengths after being tightened on jumping but offering little once in the clear. Her Carnarvon run before that was also well below the mark. Track-and-trip form and a 3kg claim help, but she appeals more for a minor cheque.

Continued his rise when second in Class 1 grade at Northam, beaten a length and a half by Market Snitz after charging home from well back. That followed a determined BM44+ win at this track over Classic Royale, despite being held up near the 200m. Turner knows him well and he has a strong winning profile.

His better reference is the start prior at this track, where he chased Merchant Trader and was beaten just under a length in BM44+ company. Latest Northam run was fair, so place claims look strongest.
