Rebounded well when third in an Open at Gold Coast last week, beaten a length and a half by Awaygoesthebunny after being near the top of betting. The start prior was plain in a FM BM78, where she settled rearward and made no impression. The 1900m query keeps her as a genuine place hope rather than a standout.

Has been safely held at both runs this campaign, finishing fifth in an Open at Gold Coast last week when beaten eight and a half lengths and unwanted in the market. He was also second last in a BM70 at Sunshine Coast at long odds. Minor claims only if he lifts sharply.

Arrives in winning form after making it two straight at this track, beating Bills Angel by a length and a half in a BM60 despite jumping awkwardly. He had earlier won a BM58 at Grafton over 2230m, fighting off Woodland Wonder after leading. Rises in grade, but the winning profile is strong.

Was sent out favourite in a BM58 at this track last start and finished fourth, beaten two and a half lengths after tracking the speed and picking up fairly. Her previous fifth in a Class 3 at Gold Coast was honest without being decisive. Weight relief helps, but she rises in grade and has been unplaced in both previous tries around 1900m, so the place case is stronger than the win case. Keeping safe in exotics.

Went within a nose of winning a BM58 at Gold Coast last start, recovering from a slow beginning before being pipped by Tambourine Man. Two back he was unwanted in the market in a BM60 but still made inroads after another slow start and lost a plate. Has enough 1900m grounding to make this his best chance for a while.

Had excuses when second last in a BM58 at Gatton, racing wide in the middle stages and losing gear near the 200m after starting near the top of betting. Her prior third behind Fierce Luva at this track was sound enough at odds. She does have two wins at this venue, but recent form still leaves her with plenty to find against the better chances. Prefer others.

Has finished sixth in all three runs this campaign and was beaten just over seven lengths in a Class 1 at Gold Coast last start after settling rearward. He was also beaten five lengths in a BM55 at Gatton two back at long odds. Blinkers go on for the first time and the class drop helps, but the first try around 1900m adds another question. Can't have.

Had genuine traffic issues when sixth in a BM58 at Gatton last week, held up from the 400m and beaten just over three lengths. That gives him more credit than the bare result, although his prior ninth in a Class 2 at Sunshine Coast was poor and he has yet to place from two starts at this track. The claim helps, but his track record is a concern.

Improved when third in a country Class 1 at Lismore six days ago, beaten just over a length by Bills Angel despite being unwanted in the market and hampered late. That was a better effort than his fifth behind Fierce Luva at this track, where he was beaten over 10 lengths. Harder company now, but a repeat puts him in the placings.
