Recent form sound. Most recently 3rd of 8 in a Bm58 at Gatton on October 16 over 860m, slow going 2.5 len behind Igotmymindonyou with 60.5kg at $2.60. The run before that favourite; won by a long-neck in a Bm58 at Gatton on October 1 over 860m in soft going defeating I Am A Winner carrying 60kg at $1.80. Capable of a strong showing.

Has been well held in two BM70 runs this campaign, most recently seventh at Warwick when beaten six and a half lengths after racing keenly and offering little from the turn. The drop from BM70 and the 3kg claim are positives, and she has won at this trip before, but recent form and the top weight make this a demanding task. Can't recommend.

Was safely held first-up at Sunshine Coast, finishing last in a BM65 and well beaten by 22 lengths on heavy ground after settling back and failing to improve. His previous Toowoomba run also lacked punch when unwanted in betting. Minor claims only.

Was last at Warwick in a BM70 and beaten over 17 lengths after beginning awkwardly, so that run has to be treated with caution rather than ignored. The stronger pointer is his second at St George two back in Open grade, when wide throughout and still beaten just over two lengths. The class relief and 2kg claim help, putting him back in the place mix if he rebounds. Keeping safe.

Won with merit at Gold Coast last start, settling back, being held up until the 300m and still picking up strongly to beat Smashing Nova by a length. That followed a plain BM65 run over 1400m, but this is the sharper piece of recent form in the race. Back to 1050m is manageable; he is the one to beat.

Returns from a two-month let-up after charging home from a long way back to win at Warwick, beating Final Voyage by a long neck when near the top of an open market. He had also placed in Class 3 company at Dalby, so the form is consistent. Wide draw is the query, but his distance record keeps him in play.

Returns from a lengthy spell after a strong finish to last campaign, where she won a Class 1 at Grafton before being run down late by Beer Baron at Coffs, beaten just over half a length as a well-supported favourite. Her record at this distance is reliable and Kyle Wilson-Taylor has placed on her both rides. Fresh enough to make a serious winning bid.

Returns from a lengthy spell after closing last campaign with a fourth in Class 3 company at Sunshine Coast, beaten just under three lengths after making ground late. She had been narrowly beaten there the run prior as a well-supported favourite. Fitness is the query, but she can run into a placing.

Resumed with a better run than sixth suggests at Gold Coast, beaten four lengths in a Class 2 after racing wide and picking up well late at big odds. First-time blinkers are the key gear angle and he has already won around this trip. Has won at the trip and looks a strong improver.

Led and fought on for third in a BM65 at Kilcoy last start, beaten just under two lengths as a well-supported favourite. The run prior at Gold Coast was fair rather than sharp, but he is race fit and the grade eases. The 1050m record is the knock, but he has place claims.

Has struggled at her past two, finishing last at Gold Coast on soft ground when beaten five and a half lengths, after being second last there and beaten over 10 lengths when wide without cover. Has to lift sharply.

Ran second at Stanthorpe last week, beaten three lengths in a BM55 at picnic level, and now faces a harder meeting and stronger grade. The prior Gatton run was poor, beaten over 14 lengths at big odds despite some early tightening. Others appeal more.

Returns from a lengthy spell with a Deagon trial behind him, which is useful readiness context without being enough to overlook the race form. He ended last campaign sixth at Gold Coast after being slow away and eighth at Sunshine Coast in Class 1 grade when hampered on jumping. A previous win at this distance is a plus, but he has to show sharper race-day intent. Just watching at this stage.

Eases back from a mid-week Eagle Farm Class 1 where she finished sixth, beaten just over six lengths at big odds after racing keenly and fading late. Her Gatton Mdn win two back was more encouraging, travelling well before beating Spoilt Rotten by a length and a half. The Gatton Mdn win was tidy and weight relief helps her place case.

Went very close at Gatton in a BM55, beaten a head as favourite after travelling well and being steadied mid-race. He rises in grade, and Zarippa beat him at Warwick two starts back, but the track-and-trip record and excellent rider association are important positives. Grade rise is the query, but the rider record and claim help.

Returns from a lengthy spell after a comfortable Dalby trial, so there is some sign he can be forward enough. His last Hong Kong run at Happy Valley was a tenth in RST60-40 company, beaten five lengths after covering ground, and the run before was only fair. Overall form still makes him risky.

Was disappointing as a well-supported favourite at Warwick last start, finishing eighth in a BM55 and beaten just over seven lengths after tracking the speed and failing to quicken. The class rise adds another hurdle, although weight relief and a return to a winning distance are positives. Weight relief helps, but the class rise makes this tougher.
