Races OR Gold Coast

Debuts as a four-year-old mare with only one public trial to draw on, a third at Beaudesert over 1050m back in April. That trial is now well spaced from race day, so there is limited recent evidence to build a strong case. Market support would be the clearest guide.

Debuts for Tony Gollan after two Doomben trials, the latest a solid third over 1000m only 11 days ago. The stable has a good debut profile and her half-sibling Stardeel has won in town, so there is some background substance. Wide draw and 60kg keep the assessment measured.

Returns from a lengthy spell after a consistent autumn campaign, ending with a close Ipswich third when favourite after jumping awkwardly. She had been beaten only a head the run prior at the same venue, so the form was honest without converting. Genuine place profile fresh.

Resumed with a strong second at this track, beaten just over a length by Cardonette after jumping awkwardly, and that effort carried extra merit given she was unwanted in the market. She had been safely held at Hawkesbury before the break, but the local return was a clear step forward. Apprentice claim helps and she looks the benchmark.

Debuts off two trials, most recently second at Beaudesert over 900m and earlier third at this venue over 1000m. That gives her more current preparation than some of the first starters, and Adam Campton has a fair debut strike rate from the supplied figures. Some debut interest, but race-day proof is still to come.

Makes her debut with four trials behind her, including a recent Beaudesert third over 1050m and an earlier local third over 850m. The broader family has produced winners, including city winners Sonic Boom and Kit De Luca, which gives some depth to the pedigree. Latest margin keeps her in the outside-place bracket.

Returns from a five-week freshening after a plain Scone country resumption where she settled midfield and never threatened, beaten six and a half lengths by Alphabet. This is harder than that country assignment, but her debut second in a 2yo F Open at Muswellbrook was much better, beaten only a head after picking up strongly. Can rebound strongly.

Finished last on debut at Doomben over 1110m, beaten eight and a half lengths after tracking the speed and weakening out of contention. She was sent out at long odds and had no clear excuse, so the performance leaves her with plenty to find. Has a lot to turn around.

Led on debut at Eagle Farm over 1200m and kept working evenly when seventh, beaten five and a half lengths by Graffitude, with the stewards noting she was tightened near the 600m. That was on soft ground and she had trialled well beforehand, winning at Beaudesert. New to 1000m, but has place claims with improvement.

Returns from a lengthy spell after two unplaced runs in her first campaign, the latest a sixth at Ipswich where she began awkwardly and made some late ground from well back. Her Doomben debut had a held-up note approaching the 400m, so both runs had some context. Early form was only fair, so improvement is required.

Returns from a lengthy spell with a Doomben trial second to suggest she is forward enough. Her debut fourth in a 2yo Open at Toowoomba was sound, and the Sunshine Coast eighth before the break is easier to assess generously after she had difficulty obtaining clear running near the 300m. Debut 2yo Open fourth puts her right in this.

Comes off a narrow Beaudesert second, beaten just over half a length after beginning slowly and having difficulty obtaining clear running leaving the 400m. That followed a close Doomben fourth when also meeting interference, so her recent form has been better than a maiden record of 11 starts suggests. Wide draw hurts, but race fitness keeps her in the place mix.

Returns from a lengthy spell after two Warwick Farm runs, most recently seventh on heavy ground when she led and tired late behind Helldeeva. Her debut was better, beaten just under three lengths after racing handy on soft going. Drawn low with speed, she can improve sharply in this grade.

Eased back from Saturday company after finishing seventh at Eagle Farm, where she raced wide throughout and was beaten just under five lengths by Metric. Her Sunshine Coast second two back, beaten just over half a length at big odds, is the better guide. Strong place claims.

Steps into harder company after a Coffs Harbour fourth as favourite, beaten just under two lengths after being handy but unable to finish it off. Her previous run was a close fourth at this venue over 1400m when also sent out favourite, so she has been respected without winning. Place chance, but must finish off better.

Has struggled at her past two, finishing seventh at Beaudesert after covering ground and last at this track behind Cardonette two back. She was big odds both times and was beaten by Tszinsi at this venue a couple of weeks ago, which is a difficult reference for this. Inside draw helps, but others appeal more.
