The Doomben run prior in Benchmark 70 grade was just as sound, beaten a nose after interference and covering ground. Back to 1400m is the query, but the wet-track record and form line are strong.

Eases back from Saturday company after finishing seventh in a 1MW-LY over 1200m at Eagle Farm, beaten four and a half lengths at big odds with no clear excuse. She was also safely held in Class 6 grade at Doomben two back. Needs a sharper finish despite the easier setup.

Kept improving when third in a Benchmark 72 at Doomben, beaten just under a length after travelling well and lengthening into the placings. She had earlier started favourite at Sunshine Coast and was run down late after an awkward beginning. Honest mare with solid place appeal, provided she handles the soft track.

Drops out of a Benchmark 85 at Doomben where she finished seventh, beaten two and a half lengths, but the run had merit given she raced keenly, covered ground and met interference late. Her previous Doomben fourth was sound enough in an open market. Class relief helps, though the trip still has to be answered.

Produced a much better second at Eagle Farm in a 3-4yo Benchmark 70 over 1200m, beaten just under a length at big odds after covering ground and having difficulty getting clear near the 200m. She had earlier placed in Class 4 grade at Sunshine Coast. Third-up now, but 1400m is new ground and keeps her to an each-way hope.

Was slow away and never a serious threat when seventh in Open grade at Gold Coast, beaten just under seven lengths after making only mild late ground.

Was beaten only a head in Benchmark 70 grade at Sunshine Coast last start after being forced wide near the 400m, so that placing reads better than the bare result. Two back she was held up around the home turn in an NMW at Doomben and still finished within three and a half lengths. Third-up and proven at 1400m, with the barrier the main concern.

Arrives off a determined Doomben win in Benchmark 68 grade, coming from well back to beat Rimbaud by a nose as a well-supported favourite. Her Eagle Farm fourth prior over 1600m was also solid, beaten just over a length after covering ground. Looks the one to beat if she repeats that effort.

Made it count third-up at Sunshine Coast in Benchmark 70 grade, overcoming a slow start and an early steady to beat Seneschal by a nose. That also had relevance to this field, with Nightcapped behind her there. Prior run was plain, but the latest keeps her in the place mix.

Finished ninth at Eagle Farm last start, beaten three and a half lengths from a rearward position and with no obvious excuse. Her previous Benchmark 72 fifth at Doomben had more merit after she jumped awkwardly, was held up and made ground late at long odds. Doomben effort prior had excuses, but she needs a clear lift to trouble these.

Steps up sharply from picnic company after finishing third in an Open at Goondiwindi, beaten just over five lengths when near the top of betting. She was also only fair at Gold Coast Poly in Benchmark 65 grade, tracking the speed before failing to go on. This asks for a sizeable lift.

Went close in a country Benchmark 66 at Grafton, beaten a neck after being bumped at the start and laying in down the straight. That was a clear rebound from an eighth at the same venue, where she was beaten just over eight lengths and could not make ground. Needs to lift again.

Worked home well for third in a Class 3 over 1200m at Sunshine Coast, beaten two and a half lengths after racing keenly and wide throughout. She also covered ground when sixth at Doomben two back, so there are excuses around the recent form. First try at 1400m is the sticking point for win purposes.

Returned with a gritty Ipswich win in FM Class 2 grade, beating Ready For Aimee by a head at generous odds despite being bumped at the start and racing wide. Her previous Benchmark 70 run at Doomben was below that level, though she also covered ground there. Strong 1400m record makes her a live chance, even from the wide draw.

Faces a harder assignment after finishing ninth in a country Benchmark 58 at Lismore, beaten just under seven lengths at generous odds. The Toowoomba run prior in FM Benchmark 55 grade was also only fair, fading late to be beaten just under six lengths. Others bring stronger form.
