Races PR Belmont

Returns from a lengthy spell after a plain finish at Pinjarra, where he was 14th in a Mdn and beaten over 15 lengths after racing wide throughout and being steadied near the 600m. Later.

Resumed with a sound sixth at Bunbury, beaten just under four lengths after covering ground and closing off despite laying in down the straight. He was also tried in Open grade at this track before the break and was not disgraced after being steadied shortly after the start. Better for the fresh effort and he can feature with improvement expected.

Comes here race fit and in consistent form, having run third at this track last week when beaten two and a half lengths at long odds. She had also been third at Bunbury two runs back, so the recent profile is genuine rather than a one-off. Ticking along nicely without winning and the inside draw can see her play a leading role again out in distance.

Finished off nicely from back in the field when fifth at Bunbury, beaten just under six lengths, and that followed a sharper fourth at Northam where she was under two lengths from Grey Ol' Day. She is fitter again, but her record around 1400m is still unplaced and she tends to leave herself work to do. The 1400m record tempers the winning case, but she is a place hope.

Made an educational debut at Northam, finishing fourth over 1100m after beginning slowly, giving away a start and working home from the rear. He was big odds there, so the market was not expecting plenty first time out. New to 1400m and still has improvement to make.

Makes her debut with a recent trial win at Lark Hill, which is the main piece of evidence to work from. She is by Nicconi and comes from the Summer Dickson yard, which carries a strong track-trainer note, but there is no race form to anchor the assessment. Can start her career on a positive note.

Makes his debut with blinkers on for the first time and a string of trials behind him, the latest a fourth over 1400m at Lark Hill. He was a $10,000 yearling purchase and is from a family that includes Listed placegetter Twilight Run, so there is some background interest. Some pedigree depth, but the public form says he has a fair bit to prove.

Was safely held first-up at Northam, finishing ninth in a Mdn and beaten just under nine lengths at long odds without a clear excuse. Her debut second at this track on soft ground was much better, when she came from the rear and was beaten just under a length. Blinkers go on and she can improve into a minor role.

Returns from a lengthy spell after a quiet debut at this track, where she finished seventh in Open grade on soft ground and was beaten eight and a half lengths after beginning slowly. She has had two trials since last raced and blinkers go on for the first time. Debut form was well held, so a sharp step forward is required.

Debuts as a $140,000 Perth yearling purchase and brings a useful bloodline, being a full sibling to Listed winner Vatican Storm. She has trialled three times at this venue, most recently finishing third, and blinkers go on for race day. Needs a touch of luck from the wide draw but she's worth keeping safe.

Makes her debut with William Pike booked and a recent Lark Hill trial third, which gives her a solid enough platform for a first race start. Her pedigree adds further interest, being a half sister to multiple Listed winner Real Danger, and she cost $4,250 at the 2026 June online sale. Looks suited by the 1400m journey on debut and she can make an immediate impact.
