Races PRB Greyville - SAF

Finished fifth in consecutive FM MPLTE runs over 1200m, most recently at Greyville when beaten four and a half lengths by Forthegoodtimes at big odds. The earlier Scottsville effort was similar, beaten four lengths after being unwanted in the market. She gets meaningful weight relief and is race fit, but 1400m is new territory and that leaves her more a place hope than a win anchor.

Has held her form well at Turffontein Inside, running fourth to Oh La Amour last start after being near the top of an open market, having been beaten only a long neck by Empress Of Peace the run prior. She remains winless after 13 starts, but the 57kg impost is kinder than the 60kg she carried at her past two and barrier two should help her settle within striking range. A major player.

Returns from a three-month break after ending her last preparation with a tenth at Kenilworth, beaten over 12 lengths by Odds And Evens when unwanted in the market. Her previous Durbanville fourth had more substance, albeit beaten eight and a half lengths by Royal Light. With no placing from six starts, she has to return sharper, but this is not beyond place reach if the break has helped.

Resumed with a plain sixth at Turffontein Inside, beaten over 10 lengths by Lucky Awesome at long odds. The start prior, before the break, she was fifth in a FM MPLTE at Turffontein Standside and beaten just over five lengths by Flying World. The class drop and light weight help, but she is yet to place from four starts and must produce a cleaner second-up effort to threaten.

Returns from a two-month freshening after another honest placing, finishing third at Scottsville behind Celtic Moon when near the top of betting. She had also been third at this venue two starts ago, starting favourite after firming, so the market has consistently respected her. With three placings from seven starts and proven synthetic form, she has the right profile to press for the win again.

Was safely held at this venue last start, finishing sixth behind Predator's Crown and beaten just over nine lengths at long odds. Her Scottsville fifth the run prior was also plain, beaten seven and a half lengths by Periwinkle. She gets weight relief, but is unplaced in seven starts and has had three tries around 1400m without a placing, so a sizeable lift is required.

Has struggled in two runs this campaign at this venue, finishing seventh first-up and then eighth behind Indignation, beaten over 17 lengths at big odds. The 2.5kg apprentice claim and third-up timing are small positives, but the exposed form is thin and she was also beaten by Dee Day at this track a couple of months ago. Hard to build a winning case on those figures.

Resumes after a four-month break following a last-place finish in a six-runner race at Durbanville, beaten five lengths by Spanish World. Her prior Kenilworth sixth on soft ground was only a little better, and she remains unplaced from three starts overall. The fresh start and trainer change add some interest, but she has to show more under race pressure to be a serious winning hope.

Has not reproduced her earlier placings lately, finishing fifth at this venue in both recent runs, most recently beaten seven and a half lengths by Predator's Crown after drifting from opening levels. She was a firming favourite two back yet was beaten ten lengths by Roy's Glorious. Her overall place record and strong partnership with Damyan Pillay keep her in the mix for minors.

Returns from a five-week freshening in strong enough order after running second to Xiphos at this venue, beaten just under two lengths. She had also placed here the run prior behind Anything But Love, and her current campaign reads better than most of these. The 1.5kg claim helps, and while she is a 34-start maiden, repeated placings at this track and distance make her the one to beat.

Returns from a five-week freshening after finishing fifth to Xiphos at this venue, beaten three lengths at long odds. That reads well enough in this field, although Dee Day finished ahead of her in the same race and she has been unplaced at her only previous 1400m attempt. The 4kg claim gives her a clear chance to bridge the gap, and she has more upside than several rivals.

Has been safely held at her past two, finishing second last at Vaal when beaten just over eight lengths by Treasure State after starting big odds. Her Turffontein Inside sixth the run prior was another long-priced effort, and her overall record is just one placing from 10 starts. The 4kg claim and weight relief help, but her 1400m record offers little encouragement.

Returns from a six-month break after ending her last preparation with a last at Greyville, beaten eight and a half lengths by Emerald Forge when unwanted in the market. She had finished well held at this venue the run before, and is still unplaced from four starts overall. With no race evidence around 1400m and no recent form strength, she has plenty to prove first-up.

Returns from a five-week freshening after being tailed off at Scottsville behind That's A Gimme, having also finished last at this venue two starts ago when beaten over 18 lengths by Ayzal. She is third-up and does get weight relief, but three career starts have produced no placing and her recent margins leave her facing a major turnaround.

Makes her debut under top weight, so the market will be important without exposed race form to assess. The stable's debut record is modest, with no wins and three placings from 19 starters, while the trainer-sire combination has one win from 28. Full sibling Roy's Glorious has won, but this filly still has to overcome a tough first assignment.
