Races ARB Fairview - SAF

Resumed with a solid third in a BM68 at this track, beaten a long neck by Tori's Girl after attracting some support despite long odds. His previous run this campaign was a fourth in a BM66, beaten three and a half lengths, so the recent profile is sound. He has two wins and five placings from 17 starts around 1900m, and the class drop keeps him firmly in the winning mix.

Improved to fourth in an Open over 2200m at this track last start, but was still beaten just under five lengths in a small field and was unwanted in the market. Two back at Fairview he finished second last, beaten over 18 lengths. He has won at this venue and around this trip, yet recent output says he must lift sharply to threaten.

Has been well held at both latest runs, finishing eighth behind Tori's Girl in a BM68 at this track after being beaten six and a half lengths. That followed a last placing over 1600m, beaten over 17 lengths by King Viserys. His track record is better than the recent form, but the current pattern makes him hard to support as a winning chance.

Failed to fire in the BM68 won by Tori's Girl last start, finishing second last and beaten over 13 lengths despite firming from a bigger opening quote. The run prior was much better, beating Celtic Rush by half a length in an Open at this track. He is one from one at the distance, so a return to that earlier form keeps him in place calculations.

Recovered from a heavy Fairview defeat to run fourth behind Tori's Girl in a BM68 at this track, beaten two and a half lengths at big odds. His record at this venue is respectable, with one win and one placing from five starts, and he has won around 1900m. With the winning rider back, he has the profile of a genuine place chance rather than a standout winner.

Returns from a five-week freshening after finishing sixth in an Open at Durbanville, beaten four and a half lengths by Phantom Man at big odds. His previous Kenilworth run was well held, so the form has to be treated carefully. The weight relief helps, and he has won around 1900m, but he appeals more as a minor chance than a leading winning prospect.

Comes through the right race after winning a BM68 at this track, beating San Quintin by a nose and also holding Silvano's Song. That followed a close third as firming favourite in a FM BM66, so the campaign has built nicely. Her synthetic record is strong and she reunites with Richard Fourie, making her one of the clear winning chances again.

Has finished fifth at both recent runs, most recently beaten over 14 lengths in an Open over 2200m at this track when unwanted in the market. She was also beaten just over seven lengths in a FM BM72 before that. Her one win from six starts at this track and distance is useful, but current form leaves her with a sizeable task.

Was fifth behind Tori's Girl in a BM68 at this track last start, beaten just over three lengths after being unwanted in the market. She had earlier finished fourth in a FM BM66, beaten seven lengths after firming. Four placings from ten starts around 1900m give her some staying relevance, but others bring stronger winning credentials.

Ran seventh behind Tori's Girl in a BM68 at this track, beaten just under five lengths after firming from a bigger opening quote. The better reference is her prior second to Ocean Flame, beaten a neck after strong market support, and she has two wins and six placings from 18 starts around 1900m. A repeat of that sharper run puts her in the minor-money frame.

Has been beaten by wide margins at her past two starts, finishing last behind Tori's Girl in a BM68 at this track after going around at big odds. Before that she was fifth in a six-runner FM BM66, beaten over 14 lengths. A previous win at this venue is the positive, but she will have to find a much stronger performance.

Has had two runs over longer trips in Open company this campaign, most recently finishing last in a small field over 2200m at this track. The class drop is important, and he returns to a distance range where he has a win and four placings from 19 starts. Fourth-up now, he gets a far more suitable platform and can turn those recent figures around.
