Races ARB Fairview - SAF

Returns from a five-week let-up after a ninth at Fairview in FM BM66 grade, beaten four and a half lengths after firming near the top of an open market. The win at this track the run prior shows she can rebound, and her three wins from eight at this venue are a plus, but one unplaced try around 1000m leaves her with work to do.

Resumes off a five-week let-up following a BM66 win at this venue, beating Wordsworth by just under a length after firming from opening levels. She had earlier run fourth in an FM BM75, beaten two and a half lengths, so the current form is honest. A wide draw tempers confidence, but her proven 1000m record keeps her in the minor-money mix.

Back after a five-week freshening since a plain tenth at Fairview, beaten just over eight lengths in an FM BM66 after starting an outside chance. The run prior was far stronger, a nose second to This Or That in an FM BM74 at this track at big odds. Her track record reads well, but she has to recapture that earlier effort.

Returns having been freshened for five weeks since a sixth at Fairview, beaten just under three lengths as a heavily backed favourite. She was also beaten just under four lengths at the same venue two back, so recent output has not matched market expectation. Barrier one and a solid 1000m record help, but she is more a rough each-way hope.

Missed by a nose at this venue in an FM BM74 last start, with the market finding her despite long odds, and that was a clear bounce from an eighth at Fairview a week earlier. The 1000m record is mixed, including no wins from nine at this track and distance, and barrier 12 is no gift. Still, the latest run puts her in the place conversation.

Has been beaten just over eight lengths and just over five lengths at her past two starts, so the recent form leaves her with a clear task. She is a three-time winner around 1000m overall, but her record at this track and distance is only one placing from four attempts. Must lift sharply to trouble the better chances.

Comes off a decisive FM Mdn win at this track, beating Stone Of Scone by a length and a half after being well-supported near the top of betting. Her earlier third behind Lovely Dancer showed the breakthrough was coming, and her synthetic record is sound. The 1000m query is there, but the stable has her in the right form to make the jump.

Arrives in excellent form, backing up an FM BM70 win over Whirlybird at this venue with a half-length second to Bandmaster in BM66 grade. She has placed twice from three at this track and distance and owns a strong synthetic profile, while Muzi Yeni's record aboard her is another positive. The 1000m win record is not dominant, but she brings the clearest winning case.

Has been close up in stronger recent races, finishing fourth in an FM BM74 at this track last start after firming from bigger odds, then second to Carnival at Fairview in an FM BM68 beforehand. She is yet to win from several tries around 1000m, but the form is holding up and her recent ratings give her a genuine winning chance.

Back after a five-week freshening following a strong second to Red Birch at Fairview, beaten just under a length after firming from bigger odds. That was a sharp turnaround from an eight-and-a-half-length defeat at this track over 1400m. The concern is her 1000m profile, with four unplaced runs, so she must prove last start was repeatable.

Back from a three-month break after a sixth at Kenilworth in FM BM70 company, beaten just over six lengths, following a second-last finish at Durbanville. The shorter 1000m is new for her and her overall record is modest, with one win from 24 starts. This looks more like a place chance if the freshening sparks a better effort.

Comes around quickly from a sixth at this track last week, beaten three and a half lengths at big odds in an FM BM70. She was also sixth behind Carnival at Fairview the run prior and her synthetic record is a major concern, with eleven unplaced attempts. The light weight helps a little, but she must find much more.
