Races CRO Seoul - KOR

Returns from a four-month break after finishing last on debut at this track, beaten over 17 lengths behind Golden Ventus at big odds. She was close enough at the turn before coming under pressure late, so there was no obvious excuse in the run. Barrier one and 53kg are small positives, but she has to produce a far stronger closing effort to trouble these.

Makes his debut from barrier two with Andre Luiz Da Silva taking the ride, which gives him a neat starting point for a first race-day assignment. He is by Hansen from Young Crown, with Young Fighter and Legend K giving the family some winning depth. The Ham Wan Sik-Hansen combination reads well enough to give him genuine place claims on debut.

Starts out by Shackleford from Special Chance and has Johan Victoire booked, which gives the colt a capable race-day partner. The family has produced winners such as Storm To Win, Sky Jejuhyang and Special Force, including some early 1000m performance. Even so, his overall profile is more one to watch unless he shows immediate race sharpness.

Unraced colt by Uncaptured from Athena Thunder and drawn barrier four for his first outing. Half-brother Flash Thunder won twice at Seoul over 1200m, so there is some family ability, but the trainer-sire numbers are modest and the stable's debut record is only fair. He looks more of a long-range prospect than a leading player here.

Second-up after finishing second last on debut at this track, beaten over 12 lengths behind Myeongseong Party at generous odds. He tracked the speed and was handy enough to the turn, but could not produce a challenge in the straight. The class drop gives him some scope to improve, though he has to find far more to become a winning threat.

Comes to race day by Dongbang Daero from Evergreen Tree and has a family that can produce early winners, with Champui Sarang successful on debut and Specialist also a two-time winner. Kang Hwan Min's first-starter record is respectable and Kim Yong Geun is a senior booking. He profiles as a sound place chance rather than the top pick.

Debuts by Air Force Blue from Gold Fashion with Choi Bum Hyun booked, but the family page is light for proven winners among the listed siblings. Double Nine did manage a debut fifth over 1200m at Seoul, while Dragon Gold was well held at his first start. This colt will have to show more than the profile suggests to make an immediate impact.

Returns from a three-month break after a debut third at this venue, beaten seven lengths behind Morning Chief on soft ground after settling handy and looking ready to pounce before tiring. That placing came at long odds, but it remains the clearest race-day evidence in this field and he already has 1000m experience. With natural improvement, he sets the standard.

Makes his debut by Colors Flying from Compass Rose and has R Maia engaged, which is a positive riding booking for a first starter. The trainer-sire combination has produced a solid place return, while the family has had a few early runners around 1000m. Barrier nine is the query, but he has enough around him to be considered a genuine placing hope.

Debuts for Seo Bum Seok, whose first-starter record is strong enough to command respect, particularly with a 67% place return from the sample supplied. By Colors Flying from Florida Power, he carries the same sire line as a couple of key runners here. Barrier ten is not ideal, but the stable profile gives him clear winning claims first time out.

First starter by Concord Point from Fiery Star and the family gives him a strong platform, headed by Fire Sword with 15 wins and Geuma Passionate with four. The Park Jee Heon-Concord Point combination has also produced winners from limited runners. Barrier eleven is the obvious obstacle, but his profile is strong enough to rate as a major danger.
