He had been held up at straightening when sixth in the Listed Boulder Cup before that, so the recent form has some merit. Stronger assignment now and the trip is a query.

His prior run was a third in the G2 Perth Cup, and he is a winner at around this distance. better suited getting out to this trip second-up and a better run is expected.

His previous BM84+ third at Belmont Park was much better, and his record of three wins and two places from six starts at this track and distance is hard to ignore. He was safely held but not disgraced in the Listed Kalgoorlie Gold Cup before that, beaten just under four lengths by Royal Law. Back in trip, but he rates highly on his latest win and he's up to this grade.

Improved to fourth in the Listed Northam Cup, beaten just over five lengths by Memory Parade, though he raced keenly early and failed to finish it off after sitting handy. The start prior was a heavy defeat in a BM84+ at Belmont Park, where he was beaten out of sight after weakening from the 600m. Would need some luck third-up to turn the tables from the Northam Cup.

Produced a decisive Listed Northam Cup win, beating Aberdeen Flyer by a length and a half after taking over before the turn and maintaining the margin despite racing wide. She had excuses at this track two back in BM66+ grade, blundering near the 1000m and being hampered on the home turn. Skipped away to score at Northam and that looks a strong formline to follow.

Resumed with a sound third in a BM72+ at this track, beaten a length and a half by Oly's Choice after leading into the straight and being run down late. His previous run in BM84+ company was a last placing over 2100m, though he made ground late. Good on resumption and he's not out of this despite the wide draw.
