Much improved handicapper last campaign who rounded off with respectable efforts in the G1 Champion Hurdle (3200m) and Aintree Hurdle (4000m). Overall first-up record reads well. Poised for a big performance.

Had an aborted spell chasing last season. Closed his campaign with a minor placing in the G2 Bet365 Select Hurdle (4300m) at Sandown Park, beaten 3 lengths. Worth thought on his peak performances.

Likeable sort who was subsequently awarded the race in a 3300m handicap at this venue in April. No show on hurdles return at Chepstow, despite a pipe-opener before that on the flat. Likely to find this company too hot.

Leading British novice last year. Took third beaten 1.5L in the G1 Supreme Novices Hurdle (3300m) at Cheltenham. Reliable type with two jumps wins to his name. Looks set to run well.

Returns from a 212-day spell. Successful in the G1 Anniversary 4yo Juvenile Hurdle (3400m) at this track, scoring by 0.8 lengths, on final outing. Genuine jumper with four wins to her name from five appearances.
