The Randwick BM88 run prior was plain, finishing second last behind Prima Bella, but her overall sprint record is strong. Strong 1000m record gives her a genuine place profile.

Lifted in Saturday company at Eagle Farm last start, finishing fourth in a CG Class 6 on heavy ground and beaten just under a length behind Thelwell. That was a sharper effort than his BM78 eighth there the run prior, and he now looks well placed fourth-up. Wet-track and 1000m records give him a strong winning case.

The class drop, first-time blinkers and weight relief all work in his favour, while three wins from five wet-track starts add further confidence. Forgive the beaten-favourite return; this sets up well.

She had earlier finished fifth at this track after leading and striking interference. A close second in a Gold Coast trial suggests she has been brought along steadily, and her 1000m record keeps her in the discussion fresh. Can make her presence felt fresh.
