Closed off well enough for third in a BM62 at Dalby last start, beaten two and a half lengths after jumping awkwardly and being held up passing the 200m. That was a clear lift on his plain 2000m run there when last behind Power Of Success. The 1400m record is the query, but he gets his chance.

The start prior at Gold Coast was also only moderate, but this is easier company and he has two wins from eight starts on good tracks. Has to turn the tables on Bitoftheblarney.

She had won a BM55 there the start prior from Sweet Pretender, but her 1400m record is limited and she resumes off two trials. Last run before the spell was plain, so she must show more fresh.

Returns off a five-week let-up in honest form, having won a BM55 at Morven from The Stone Mason before running second as favourite at Tara, beaten just under two lengths by Vizstar. She has two wins and five placings from eight starts at this distance and can use her natural speed to offset the wide draw. Wide draw and stronger company are the tests, but she is a major player.

Dropped right out at Eagle Farm last start, finishing last and beaten over 19 lengths on heavy ground after settling rearward and giving ground. That came in Saturday company, so this is much easier, and she had been second in a BM50 at Eidsvold the run prior. A rebound is required.

Backs up quickly after finishing fifth in an Open at Charleville, beaten just under nine lengths by Cardiologist at generous odds. His previous fourth behind Malarina was better, beaten just over two lengths after racing wide. Best suited as a place hope.

Returns off a five-week let-up after a solid third at Charleville, beaten just over two lengths by Malarina despite racing wide and starting at outside-chance odds. He was well beaten by Holler Dash at Morven the run before, so the matchup still asks a question. Place claims look stronger than the win case.
