Had genuine excuses at Geelong last start, jumping awkwardly and striking interference before finishing ninth in a BM66, beaten just over two lengths by Royal Rendezvous. The Ballarat fourth in another BM66 two back was sound enough in an open market, and he now returns to a track and distance where he has already won. Drops from BM66 grade and has already won at this track and distance.

Led throughout to win a BM56 at Bairnsdale last start, beating Chip'N'Dale by just under three lengths on soft ground. That was a clear turnaround after he faded late at Mornington, but today's race is a stronger assignment from country company and BM56 grade. A repeat alone may not be enough.

Boxed on for third at Bendigo last start after leading and losing a plate, beaten just under three lengths behind Fast Freddie. That followed a positive BM66 win at Coleraine where he led and beat Racey Casey by a length. Others make more appeal.

Resumed with a strong Cranbourne second, picking up impressively and missing by only a neck behind Hustle In Heels in a race where the market had him well found. His Caulfield Heath run prior was plain in BM64 grade, but he is much better judged on the fresh effort. Looks ready to take another step second-up.

Worked home evenly for third in a CG BM56 at Kilmore when resuming, beaten four lengths after racing wide throughout as an outside chance in betting. He gets weight relief and has drawn barrier one, but this is a tougher country-to-BM62 task and his record around this distance is place-heavy without a win. Drawn nicely and is in the mix.

Made some ground from well back at Seymour first-up after beginning slowly, finishing fifth and beaten four and a half lengths behind Parcae on soft ground. He had also covered ground when last at Sale before the break, so his recent margins require context rather than dismissal. The trip is a query, but his ratings say he is a genuine winning hope.

Returns from a two-month freshening after winning his Hamilton debut over 1100m, beating Weasel Sea by two lengths as a well-supported runner near the top of betting. A close second in a Mornington trial since keeps him ticking over, but this is his first test around 1203m and comes out of Mdn grade. First go at the trip and stronger grade are the key tests.

Scored at this track last start in a CG BM56, sitting behind the leaders and fighting on to beat Manchego by half a length at generous odds. He had been held up before finishing seventh at Swan Hill the run prior, so the return to this venue clearly helped. Harder grade now, but the local form keeps him in the mix.

Returns from a lengthy spell after ending her first campaign with a soft win at this track, taking over and clearing out to beat Race For Rule by just over three lengths as a short odds-on favourite. Her debut second at Pakenham was also full of merit at long odds, and three trials since last racing give her a sound base for this resumption. Soft winner at this track last time and looks the one to beat.

The Ballarat run prior is best treated cautiously after she dropped out with cardiac arrhythmia, though it still leaves some trust to rebuild. Distance record is solid enough for a place chance.

Arrives in winning form after consecutive BM56 victories, most recently at this track on soft ground when well-supported and too strong late for Yellowknife. She had also won at Donald by just under two lengths, so the form pattern is genuine. Wide draw and BM62 rise temper the win call.

When resuming last campaign third in a small field at Cranbourne 3yo F Mdn-Sw April 17 over 1000m, soft track; 5 len behind Price Tag carrying 57kg at $5.50. Will take great benefit from this outing.

Came from a long way back to win a Mdn at Echuca last start, overcoming a slow beginning and a restricted run near the 250m to beat Sibun by half a length as favourite. That showed determination, and she has a win from two starts at the distance. Good win fresh but this is tougher.

Was held up passing the 300m before finishing third at this track in FM BM56 grade, beaten a length and a half behind The Birthday Party. She had won a BM56 at this venue the start prior, coming from the rear on soft ground, and her track record is respectable. Place chance, but this is stronger.

Ran third behind Rattle'N'Roll at this track last start in a CG BM56, beaten just over two lengths after racing wide early and only battling late. The heavy-track Warrnambool run before that was poor, but he now gets weight relief and owns a strong distance record with two wins and three places from six starts. Strong distance record keeps him in the placing mix.

Returns from a lengthy spell after a BM62 seventh at Pakenham, where he was unwanted in betting, began slowly, raced wide and found little late. His previous Cranbourne third in Class 1 grade was more competitive, and a Cranbourne trial win gives some fresh interest. Others make more appeal.

Resumes after three months off following a Ballarat Synthetic second in a small field, beaten just over a length by Razzo Rosso after travelling well. He had won a BM56 at Echuca before that, beating Colt Forty Five by three and a half lengths on heavy ground. Tougher now.
