He had been fair rather than sharp in a BM66 at Ballarat, but the move to 1454m suits a gelding with four wins and two placings from eight starts at this distance. The claim helps and he rates highly.

Returns from a five-week let-up after a sound Cranbourne third, beaten just over a length by Dirty Look after jumping awkwardly and still holding her ground. Her Sandown-Hillside fourth in FM BM74 grade two back reads well for this, and she now comes back from metro company to an easier meeting. Easier company and Jamie Mott's record aboard her are strong positives.

Backs up quickly after a brave Sale third on heavy ground, where he led and was only collared late, beaten just over a length by Kahhof. The 1454m is the one query, though he has won around this trip, and his Geelong run prior had merit after he was held up until the 300m in a BM66. Handles wet tracks well and looks the one they have to beat.

Returns from a lengthy spell with two trials behind him, which should have him forward enough to run well fresh. He ended last campaign with a ninth in a BM66 at Bendigo as favourite, but was only beaten two and a half lengths and had raced keenly. Proven at the distance and capable of landing a minor cheque fresh.

Comes in off successive wins and has already scored at this track and trip, most recently beating Aubaine by a head in BM62 grade despite being held up near the 200m. His Kilmore win before that was more decisive, leading and scoring by just over three lengths in CG BM56 company. Class rise is the test, but the track-and-trip profile keeps him competitive.

Arrives off a narrow BM56 win at Echuca, where he overcame an awkward start and beat Ice Quake by a long neck. He had also placed in BM56 grade at this venue the run prior, working home evenly behind Brutal World. Has to find another level.

Was plain when seventh at Horsham last start, beaten three and a half lengths by Naraghi after being close enough in the run and finding little. His Mornington BM62 win two back was stronger, coming from midfield to beat Twisted Love on soft ground, and first-time blinkers are a positive change. His Mornington win two back gives him a solid place case.

Has been well beaten in two runs this campaign, finishing last at Geelong over 1300m when slow away and beaten just over eight lengths by Aurora Belle. That followed a last in BM78 grade at Flemington on heavy ground, where she was beaten over 19 lengths and unwanted in the market. Recent form makes her hard to recommend.

Returns from a lengthy spell after ending last campaign with a last at Pakenham, beaten six and a half lengths in BM66 grade when sent out at big odds. Her Echuca Class 1 win before that was better, storming home as a well-supported favourite to beat Here Comes Wozza. The Echuca win reads well, but her final run last campaign was plain.

Returns from a lengthy spell after a disappointing end to last campaign, finishing last of five at Moe on heavy ground when well-supported favourite and beaten over 14 lengths. Before that she ran seventh in the Listed Port Adelaide Cup, where she was tightened at the start and beaten just over seven lengths by Alainge. Listed form is in the profile, but the Moe failure leaves a clear fitness and sharpness question.

Won a BM62 at Ballarat on heavy ground two days ago, beating M'Lady Rose by just over a length, and now backs up quickly into stronger company.
