His Caulfield run before the break was plain in a BM78, yet he now comes to a BM66 with genuine class relief. Top weight is the query, but he has place claims.

Dropped out to finish second last in a BM62 at this track last start, beaten six and a half lengths by Biratu after having the task ahead and failing to make ground. That was a sharper come-down after he won a BM62 at Swan Hill from Mike's Hope. Weight relief helps, but BM66 company looks a stern test.

Improved at Ballarat last start when fifth behind Haaracaine, beaten three and a half lengths at long odds after settling rearward and moving into the race before failing to quicken. Two back at Sandown-Lakeside he was beaten over 18 lengths after racing wide throughout. Wet-track record strengthens his winning case.

Started near the top of betting in a BM62 at Swan Hill last week but settled rearward and only kept on for seventh, beaten three and a half lengths by Habitual. His previous Ballarat sixth as favourite was sound on margin, though he still failed to finish off. Minor chance.

Went within a head of winning a BM62 at this track last start as a well-supported favourite, finishing strongly after being bumped passing the 200m. That followed a solid Geelong third on soft ground after a slow beginning, so his form is building well. Progressive profile and the one to beat.

Rebounded sharply in a BM62 at Horsham, fighting on for third and beaten just under a length behind Octane Reign after being tightened near the 200m. That was a clear improvement on his Morphettville failure, where he weakened right out. Genuine danger if he repeats that.

Returns from a five-week let-up after finishing third in a BM62 at Warrnambool on heavy ground, beaten just over five lengths by Overpriced after travelling well and working home evenly. He was closer in a BM70 at Seymour the run prior, beaten just over two lengths after covering ground. John Allen and weight relief help, but this looks more place than win.

Made no impression late when eighth at Sale over 2200m on soft ground, beaten six and a half lengths by Tishman at big odds. She had won a BM56 at Bairnsdale by a nose from Jonquil the start prior, but that was a narrow lower-grade result. Quick back-up may suit, but the recent level leaves her with plenty to prove.

Worked home into third in a BM56 at Kilmore last start, beaten four lengths by Celestial Splendor after settling rearward and getting busy late. His first-up BM62 run over 1200m was never likely to show his best after a slow beginning and market weakness. Trip and grade rise are the tests.

Tracked the speed in a BM56 at Wangaratta last week and was not beaten far in seventh, finishing just under five lengths from Positivo. His Seymour fifth in a BM62 was less convincing, beaten eight and a half lengths after leading and weakening. Improvement required.

Broke through in a Mdn at Warrnambool last start, beating Girl With A Pearl by half a length after coming under pressure late.
