Returns from a lengthy spell after ending last campaign with a decisive BM74 win at Wagga Riverside, where he was bumped early before finishing too well as a well-supported favourite. He had been held up and checked when fifth to Dear Jewel at Warwick Farm prior, so that run had merit. Two trials and a sound 1000m record give him genuine place claims.

Resumes after four months off and brings the right profile for this 1000m assignment. His fourth at Sandown-Lakeside before the break, beaten two lengths by Cobblestone Way, was solid metro form, while the Flemington BM88 run prior is stronger than this level. The profile is the right one for this.

Second-up after an eighth in BM70 grade at Hamilton, where he began slowly, covered ground and was beaten three and a half lengths at long odds. That was better than the finishing position suggests, and the return to BM66 company helps. Suited back to BM66 and can improve sharply.

Back from a five-month break following a disappointing sixth at Sapphire Coast, where he jumped awkwardly and was beaten just over six lengths as a well-supported favourite. His previous Moruya BM58 win over Selhurst Park was much more convincing, and he has since won an easy trial at Canberra. Has a tidy win record and sharp trial victory has him ready to go.

Comes through a Balranald picnic win, scoring by just over two lengths from Pretty Penguin in a small field when near the top of betting. This is a harder meeting now, and her previous run at this track was a sixth in Class 2 grade when unwanted in the market despite making ground after a slow start. Outclassed.

Has finished sixth at Wagga at his past two runs, most recently beaten three and a half lengths behind Star Of Lily after being bumped at the start and racing wide throughout. He also covered ground when close enough in the run prior, so there have been excuses. Needs to find a few lengths to trouble some of these.

Resumes off a two-month freshening after winning on debut in a Tatura Mdn, beating Turbo Babaa by a long neck at 71s on soft ground. He showed good early manners and fought on, though the stewards noted he hung out during the run. Thrown in the deep end at his second race start, others look stronger.

Has been around the mark without winning, finishing fourth at Bathurst last start when beaten a length and a half by Miss Capricorn, then matching that margin in the run prior at Cootamundra. She races handy enough to use barrier 2, and her record with Coriah Keatings is a genuine plus. Well drawn and finds an easier race with Keatings' back aboard.
