His previous start was a dominant Class 1 win at Albury on heavy ground, beating Toyz In Zouland by two lengths as an odds-on favourite. Handy overall record and drawn nicely, consider.

Returns from a five-week let-up after another honest placing at Warrnambool, finishing third as favourite on heavy ground after coming from a long way back. He had also run second at Geelong over 1147m, beaten a length, so the consistency is clear even if the winning edge has been missing. Drawn well with a claim, he can figure prominently again.

Returns from a four-month break with a Colac trial win two weeks ago, a positive pointer for her first-up run. Her Caulfield efforts before the spell came in F Open and Open grade, including a seventh to Signature Scent when she offered little late, but that form sits well against this field. Her Caulfield Open-grade form is the strongest in the race, takes beating fresh.

Returns from a six-week let-up after breaking through in a Mdn at Bairnsdale, holding on by a neck from Nishioka after doing some work wide mid-race. That was only his second start, following a debut seventh at Mornington when near the top of betting but unable to finish off. Tougher now but has upside and could give cheek.

Broke through first-up in a small-field Mdn at Echuca, leading and holding Magnusaurus Rex by a long neck as an outside chance in betting. That was a genuine positive, but he now comes from country Mdn grade into a stronger BM62 and the margin was narrow. Tougher now, rough hope.

Third-up after finishing sixth at Cranbourne, beaten just over two lengths at long odds, with a late steadier adding some context but not a major excuse. Her previous seventh at this venue was also fair rather than threatening, beaten just over three lengths. Risking.

Returns from a six-week let-up after two unplaced Bendigo runs this campaign, most recently sixth and beaten just under four lengths when unable to go on with it. She was unwanted in the market two back on soft ground and again failed to finish the race off. Others bring sharper recent form.

Second-up after winning a Mdn at this track as an odds-on favourite, leading and kicking strongly to beat Real Heir by a length. She now tackles stronger BM62 grade, but she has already won at this track and distance and Billy Egan stays with her after that successful pairing. Stronger grade now, but looks one that can handle it.

Second-up after finishing sixth in a BM56 at Bendigo, beaten three and a half lengths at big odds after being safely held. His better run two back was a third in a Class 1 at Wellington, but he now faces a class rise and remains winless from eleven attempts at this distance. Needs to lift.

Most recently 2nd of 10 in a 0 - 56 at Yarra Valley on October 24 over 1009m, on a slow track; 0.8 len behind Pacific Glamour carrying 54kg at $6.50. The start before that sat on the speed and boxed on steadily 6th of 9 in a Bm56 at this track on October 9 over 1000m, 2.25 len behind Les Braves carrying 53kg at $9.50. Not keen this time.

Backs up after finishing second last in a BM52 at St Arnaud, beaten four lengths after racing wide throughout and making only limited late ground. His Bendigo run a week earlier was similar, though he was closer in the market there. Can't have.
