Needs to take another step to compete against these.

Had excuses at Sale last start when second last in a BM70, with stewards noting she was held up near the 150m and suffered interference passing the 100m. Her Seymour win the run prior on heavy ground, beating Ataegina by half a length, reads well and she now eases from that BM70 line. This is easier and her prior form is good.

Back from a four-month break after finishing sixth in a Quality at Flemington, beaten eight and a half lengths at big odds after beginning awkwardly. He had won a Mdn at Swan Hill the start prior over a much longer trip, just holding off Baudin. Still unproven at the mile and must find a sharper turn of foot.

Comes off a Bairnsdale BM56 win where he covered ground yet still beat Spirit Angel by just under two lengths. The run prior at the Bool was sound, finishing fifth to Captain Redbeard and beaten just over two lengths after making ground from well back. Stronger company and a wide draw make him more place than win.

Was second last at this track first-up, beaten just under four lengths, but she raced wide without cover throughout and that gives the run some excuse. She was also wide when fifth in a FM BM70 at Geelong before the break, so recent results need context. Would prefer to see again.

Her start prior was much better, going under by a neck to Alainge in a BM66 at Morphettville as a well-supported favourite. Has the ability to run well fresh.

Was disappointing at Kyneton last start, finishing last and beaten over 10 lengths after sitting just off the pace and failing to challenge. The previous synthetic third at Pakenham was sound enough, beaten just under four lengths behind Caelius after leading. Possible improver back in trip.

Drove hard late to win a Kilmore BM56 by three lengths last start, despite having difficulty obtaining clear running approaching the 400m. That was a clear lift from her sixth at this venue when slow away and beaten three lengths by Venetian Choice. Tougher now but can measure up.

She had won a BM56 at Swan Hill the run before, holding off Gift Of Oratory by half a length. Mile placings help, but recent race form leaves her with work to do.
