His win prior at this venue was sharp, coming from well back to beat Global Trip in Class 1 company. Will be better over further but still has to be kept safe.

Made late ground after beginning slowly when fifth to My Jimmy in NMW1Y grade at Ascot, beaten two and a half lengths in Saturday company. He had been only a length and a half from Marcos at Belmont Park two back and now finds an easier meeting. Wide barrier is the niggle, but clearly good enough.

Had excuses when second last to Javelin Strike at Ascot, beaten two and a half lengths after racing wide in mid-week company. The prior Open run at Belmont Park was also plain, but he has won at this track and distance and the 2kg apprentice claim eases the top-weight impost. Track-and-trip win keeps him right in the winning mix.

Has put together two close seconds this campaign, most recently beaten just over half a length by Perfume Princess at Ascot after starting big odds. His Geraldton second in BM70+ grade was also sound after beginning awkwardly. Up in grade but still has to be included.

Returns from a five-month break with a recent Lark Hill trial to bring him on. He ended last campaign when fifth to Jazz Me Baby at Belmont Park, beaten just over four lengths as favourite after interference near straightening, and had placed in a Class 3 two runs back. Consistent overall and capable of running into the placings fresh.

Worked home from well back when fifth to Reginetta in NMW1Y company at Ascot, beaten just over a length at generous odds. His Bunbury run prior was less convincing, with an awkward start and wide run contributing to an eighth. Not a prolific winner but still capable in this line up.

Has been safely held in two runs this campaign, most recently second last to Show The Way in Class 5 company at this track when beaten just over six lengths. He was also 11th at Bunbury two back, though held up at stages before keeping on. Has to lift sharply.

Returns from a two-month let-up after a fourth to Rocktex in Open grade at Belmont Park, where racing wide throughout told late. He had missed by only a head behind Gaintree in Open company the start prior, and a solid second in a Belmont Park trial suggests he has been kept up to the mark. Strongest winning case.

Resumed with a sound third to God's Gate in 1 Metro Win company at Ascot, beaten just under two lengths at long odds. That was a clear return to competitiveness after he had been well beaten in the G3 WA Sires Produce Stakes before a spell. Has to be kept safe with Johnston-Porter aboard.

Was held up in the straight when seventh to Perfume Princess at Ascot, beaten just over three lengths at long odds, so there was some merit in the first-up run. His previous start came before a spell when sixth to History Won'T Care at Belmont Park in CG Class 3 grade. Track-and-trip credentials make him a realistic place hope.

Finished last to Star Martini over 1000m at this track 10 days ago, beaten nine and a half lengths after settling back and never threatening. His previous race start was a long time earlier, when second last at Belmont Park at big odds. Others bring much stronger recent form.
