He had won a Class 1 at Northam before that by two and a half lengths as favourite, so the form is trending the right way. Quick back-up suits and he has the form to win again.

Two back she was second in an FM Class 3 at Belmont Park, so the recent form has substance despite a slight taper in the figures. Wide draw asks something, but she brings a solid winning case.

His previous second at Junction in a BM62+ was better, but this is a harder meeting than the country form and he was at long odds last time. Was 11th at this track last start, beaten five and a half lengths behind Royal Gap after settling back and finishing only fairly. She had earlier been beaten just under six lengths by Decoration in a Class 5 at Northam. Minor money only if she rebounds.

His previous run at Belmont Park was a second-last finish in a Class 3 at big odds, where he was never a factor from back in the field. Fitter third-up, but he has to find more late.

Before the break he was beaten just under six lengths in a Class 1 at Bunbury as favourite, with stewards noting he was restrained shortly after the start. Still has to improve to trouble the main hopes.

Worked home from well back for fifth in a Class 5 at Northam last start, beaten just under five lengths, and was held up passing the 200m. He had also found some traffic when fourth at Northam two back, though both runs still left him short of winning form. Quick back-up suits, yet he must lift.

Has placed in all five starts and comes off consecutive thirds in Open grade, most recently beaten just over three lengths by Roger at this track after working home evenly. The first try around 1600m is new, but he gets clear class relief, weight relief and a favourable draw. New to 1600m, but this sets up well for a breakthrough.
