That was a clear rebound from a Rockhampton tenth where he was swamped late after travelling forward. Proven at 1170m, but the track record and tougher task keep him under notice only.

Returns from a lengthy spell after an eighth at this track when bumped at the start and beaten five and a half lengths by Vredefort. His previous run was a distant last in a Class 2 at Sunshine Coast after settling rearward and making no impression. Track record is sound, but recent race form leaves him with ground to make up.

Had genuine excuses at Sunshine Coast last start, finishing sixth in a BM58 but beaten only two lengths after being tightened early and racing wide throughout. He had earlier run second to Mamaragan at this track in a BM60, again after covering ground. Strong track-and-trip record keeps him in the place mix.

His Thangool third two back in a Class 1 was sound enough, and the weight relief is a small plus. Still winless at the distance and must find a sharper finish.

That followed a heavy last at Nanango as odds-on favourite, beaten over 19 lengths. Has won here, but recent failures and the distance record make him hard to recommend.

The race before that came home strongly from last on the turn; 2nd of 10 in a Bm50 at this track on August 22 over 1170m, 8 len behind Reebar carrying 61kg at $10. Can do much better this time.

Broke through at Tara last start, winning a Mdn by just over five lengths after racing wide throughout. She had also been close at this track two back when third to Joyful Conquest, beaten a long neck, again after covering ground. Has improved, but this asks more than recent assignments.

Resumed at Kilcoy with a fifth behind Calvary, beaten six and a half lengths, but she did make late ground after being unwanted in the market. Her previous run was a fourth in a Class B at Roma where she had been closer in betting and struck some early interference. Second-up and back around a winning distance, she has place claims.

Went close at Eidsvold last start, running second in a Class B and beaten just over a length after being kept safe in betting. The Talwood fourth before that was a margin-heavy result, but her overall distance profile is far better, with one win and two placings from four starts around 1170m. Brings the strongest winning profile.

Lifted third-up at Tara when third in a Class B, beaten just under a length after suffering interference near the 150m. She had been fifth at Emerald first-up, beaten five lengths after settling well back and failing to get into the race. Weight relief helps, but the 1170m record tempers the win case.

Returns from a three-month break after two very plain Open runs, the latest at this track when last and beaten out of sight after covering ground and fading. He was also last at Nanango two back, beaten over 15 lengths. Prior track win helps, but the last two race runs were well below the mark.

Won a Class 3 at this track last start, beating Jenni La Rock by a neck as a short odds-on favourite. He had been below that level at Eidsvold in a BM50 after jumping awkwardly and racing keenly, so the latest run was a timely correction. Wide draw is the query, but the form is strong.

Returned to winning form at Emerald last start, taking a BM50 by just under two lengths on soft ground after being an outside chance in betting. That was a clear improvement on her Gladstone sixth, where she jumped awkwardly and was beaten just under four lengths by Ricallen. Class rise is there, but she is one of the main dangers.
