Was safely held first-up at this track over 1000m, finishing eighth to Esperanza after being hampered early and settling well back. His Listed Tattersalls Stakes run before the break was stronger, beaten just under four lengths in Open company, and he is already a track-and-trip winner. Place hope only if he sharpens up.

Has been out of sorts in two runs this campaign, finishing second last at Doomben before a tenth at Toowoomba when beaten just over eight lengths. He did cop some interference last start, and first-time blinkers plus a 3kg claim are possible sparks, while his 1200m record reads well. Even so, the recent finishing effort has been plain and he must produce a far stronger closing run. Not this time.

Produced the standout recent performance when winning by three and a half lengths over 1000m at this track, overcoming work to do and interference leaving the 400m before beating Lucky Pat. The 1200m is not entirely without a question, but she has won around this trip, handles wet ground and Angela Jones has a solid record on her. Thrashed her rivals at the latest and looks the one they have to beat.

Had every chance when sixth at this track last start, tracking into the race before failing to finish it off and going under by just under three lengths. He was sent out favourite at Doomben two back but again only worked home evenly. First-time blinkers are a relevant change and he has won at this venue, though his current campaign makes him hard to recommend. Looking to others.

Comes through a mid-week Mdn win at this track, where he pressed forward, found enough late and beat Volcanic Rush by just under a length. His debut second at Doomben was also honest at big odds, so the early record has substance. The quick back-up and sharp rise from Mdn company into an Open three-year-old race are the sticking points, despite helpful weight relief. Prefer in something easier.

Arrives in winning form after putting away a FM BM58 at Gold Coast by two and a half lengths as favourite, opening up strongly after travelling on speed. That followed a determined Mdn win at Beaudesert when sent out odds-on, so she has built a neat campaign. Proven at 1200m and profiles as a genuine threat.

Made a professional enough start by winning a Mdn at Gold Coast Poly by a length and a half, overcoming an awkward jump and covering ground before beating King Of Valhalla. This is a sharper Open test, but he is a $220,000 purchase from a strong sprinting family and comes from the Chris Waller stable. The rise in grade is the test but he has plenty of scope for improvement.

Broke through in a Doomben Mdn as favourite, holding Duchess Difficult by just under a length after a genuine late tussle. Her debut fourth at this track had merit given she raced wide and laid out late, yet she was still beaten just under three lengths. Wide barrier keeps her more a place hope.

Returns from a four-month break after ending last campaign with a soft-ground Mdn win at Ipswich, where she travelled just off the lead and beat Mean King by just over a length. She had earlier run second on heavy ground at Gold Coast, so wet conditions hold no fear. Can give a bold sight with a clever steer.

Won a Ballina Mdn by two and a half lengths as a short odds-on favourite, recovering from a slow start before scoring with something in hand. The run prior at Lismore was sound when fourth in a FM Mdn after making late ground. Has to lift again to threaten.

Showed good improvement at start two, winning a Gold Coast FM Mdn over 1000m by a length and a half after being prominent throughout. Her debut at this track was only fair, beaten five and a half lengths after some tightening near the 600m. Expect him to bounce straight to the front and give a sight under the light weight.

Has made a very genuine start, beaten a nose as a well-supported favourite on debut before winning a Lismore Mdn by the same margin on soft ground. She had to hold her line after early pressure last start and still found enough late, which is a good sign for a lightly raced filly. Light weight gives her a live winning chance.

Returns from a four-month break after a wide run in Open company at Sunshine Coast, where she was unwanted in the market and beaten five lengths by Tengun Tommy. Her debut Mdn win at Toowoomba was far better, beating Royal Diamond by four and a half lengths as favourite, and she has won at this distance. The last run before the break was only fair.

Won on debut at Toowoomba over 1010m as an odds-on favourite, settling back before picking up late to beat Ready As Bam by a neck. She had three trials before that first start and carries a light weight here, so there is some foundation to work with. The concern is that she now tackles 1200m for the first time and rises from Mdn company, leaving a fair bit more to prove. Prefer others.
