Comes off a fifth in a BM70 at Warwick, beaten two and a half lengths after sitting just off the lead and battling on without threatening. His Beaudesert second in Class 4 grade two back was stronger, though he was again well found in betting. The 1200m record is sound and the claim helps, but rising from country company into a deeper race makes this a sterner assignment. Looking to others.

Had more merit than the Rosehill seventh suggests, settling rearward before being restrained off heels and held up around the 200m, then working home late to be beaten just under three lengths in a BM72. The Canterbury run prior was also within range. Wet form and the grade profile keep him right in the race.

Closed strongly when second in a Class 4 at Ipswich, beaten just over half a length after being steadied midrace and laying in late. That was a clear step forward from his Randwick seventh first-up, where he was bumped and raced wide from the 700m. Gets help at the weights and is drawn to get a good run, so he can make his presence felt.

Returns from a four-month break after ending last preparation ninth in the G3 Winx Guineas at Sunshine Coast, beaten four and a half lengths after beginning awkwardly. The run prior was a strong Open win at Ipswich, where he made up plenty of late ground to beat Platinum Pantheon. Has a good turn of foot and can launch at them late.

Returns from a lengthy spell after finishing second at Ipswich in Class 6 grade, beaten a neck as a well-supported favourite despite covering ground. He had earlier been close-up third at Sunshine Coast when odds-on. Close last-preparation form reads well, but readiness is the key issue.

Was within two lengths when fifth at this track last start, but he tracked into the race and failed to finish it off after looking ready to pounce. His third here in Class 5 grade two back was honest without being dominant. Honest type, though the win case is only fair.

Resumed with a sound third at Doomben, beaten just under a length after racing prominently and being pipped late in an open market. His previous run in BM85 grade at Gold Coast was plain, though he raced wide throughout and was unwanted in betting. Wide draw is the query, not the class.

Made good late ground for third at this track on soft going after beginning slowly, beaten just over a length by Vanessi. The start prior was another sound effort here in BM70 grade, picking up nicely after racing wide throughout. Knocking on the door and can be in the finish if the pace is genuine.

Was only fair when sixth over 1400m at this track last start, beaten three and a half lengths after leading and working home evenly. His previous third in BM70 grade here on soft ground was stronger, and he owns a win and a placing from four starts at this track and distance. Previous BM70 third reads well.

First-up. Finished off last campaign third of 8 at Doomben 3yo Bm68 April 15 over 1110m, 0.5 len behind Vivika carrying 60kg at $7. When resuming last campaign sixth of 12 at this track 3yo Qlty February 28 over 1000m, soft track; 2 len behind Dr Farthing carrying 54kg at $31. Will improve on whatever he does in this.

Has been safely held at her past two, finishing second last in a Class 4 at Ipswich before a ninth in BM70 grade at Gold Coast when unwanted in betting. She has won at this track and is proven at 1200m, but the recent finishing effort has not been sharp. Beaten by Strada Varenna three weeks ago, she will have to find a stronger turn of foot. Unlikely to threaten.

Returns from a one-month freshening after winning an FM BM65 at this track, leading throughout and beating Exuberance by a length and a half despite beginning awkwardly. That followed a close Class 2 third at Doomben, so her form line is reliable. SCRATCHED.

Finished sixth first-up at Doomben in a BM65, beaten a length and a half after settling back and holding his position without a clear excuse. His Caulfield fourth in a Quality before a break was sound at generous odds. Has scope for improvement and is one to keep in mind.

Arrives off consecutive Toowoomba wins, most recently taking an FM Class 1 by just over two lengths after leading and putting a good gap on the field. She had earlier won a Mdn by two and a half lengths in similar style. This is much stronger, so she must lift again.

Last start 5th of 13 in a 4yo+ Bm72 at Warwick Farm on October 5 over 1100m, on a slow track; 3 len behind Fuadee with 57.5kg at $16. The run before that 8th of 12 in a Bm72 at Warwick Farm on September 2 over 1000m, 3 len behind Spartus with 58kg at $4.20. Will need to improve sharply.

Has been knocking loudly, beaten a nose in BM70 grade at this track last start after beginning awkwardly, travelling well and fighting hard as favourite. Two back she was beaten only a head at Gold Coast in another BM70. Proven at this venue and looks the one to beat.

Won a BM65 at Sunshine Coast on heavy ground last start, beating Ten Good Reasons by just under a length after settling back and overcoming interference. That was better than her Rockhampton fourth as a well-supported favourite. Quick back-up and deeper opposition keep her in the roughie bracket.

Ran a much better race at this track last start, beaten half a length into second at long odds after travelling well behind the leaders. The Toowoomba ninth two back in BM80 grade was plain, beaten four lengths after failing to quicken. Her 1200m record gives some grounding, but one placing from five starts at this venue tempers confidence. Prefer others.

Comes through picnic and country form, most recently second in a BM50 at Eidsvold, beaten just over two lengths. Two back she was a distant third at Talwood in Open grade, beaten seven and a half lengths. Asks for a sizeable jump.
