His prior BM78 fourth to Liberty Park was sound after a poor jump and he now gets meaningful weight relief. The grade is stronger, but his latest win gives him the best winning case.

His Gold Coast fourth before that was also honest, beaten just over a length after leading. The recent effort has merit, but his limited 1600m record and stronger opposition leave him with a significant task. Looking to others this time.

The Gold Coast fourth prior was sound, beaten just under a length, but he has not placed in ten starts over the past 12 months. Steps back to 1600m with one unplaced try around the trip, so the win case remains thin. Unlikely to threaten.
