Races ORM Nagoya - JAP

Recent form leaves him with plenty to find after finishing a distant last in a COND at this track behind Brilliance, having been at long odds and never likely from well back. The start prior was another ninth, finished well held behind Sweet Laki. The class drop is some help, but four unplaced runs around 1500m and a winless record from nine starts make this a demanding assignment.

Has been a long way off them at her past two starts, most recently seventh behind Brilliance when never competitive and beaten out of sight. She was last the run prior behind Perfect Snow after settling well back, and K Two Taka had her measure in a recent meeting. The class drop is noted, but her 1500m record remains bare and stronger claims sit elsewhere.

Has shown little in four starts and was last behind Brilliance at this track two weeks ago, beaten a long way after settling well back and failing to improve. Her previous run was also poor, finishing second last behind Sweet Laki at long odds. She remains unplaced at the track and distance, so a significant turnaround is required to trouble these.

Recent runs have been plain, with a ninth behind Ho O Parsons last start when unwanted in the market and beaten over 14 lengths after making no impression late. She was beaten a long way behind Clean Bouquet two back and has also been held by Mitsukane Luna in recent form. The class drop gives her some relief, but she has to find a stronger finish.

Comes back to C3 with the services of leading track rider Seigo Tsukamoto, which gives her profile more appeal than the form figures suggest. Last start she was eighth behind Perfect Snow after settling back and making no impression, while two back she finished sixth behind Nishiki Birkin after racing closer. The 1500m record is a query, but this is a suitable race for improvement.

Has been safely held at both recent runs, finishing tenth behind Brilliance last start when unwanted in the market and beaten out of sight. The run prior was only marginally better, with an eighth behind Sweet Laki after failing to improve from the rear. She is unplaced in seven starts overall and will have to show far more late strength.

Drops into this after finishing tenth in a C9 behind Meisho Yorikiri, beaten over 15 lengths after conceding a big start. His C1 run two back behind Stranger was also well held, but he has placed five times across a long career and that keeps him in the minor-money conversation in a modest race. The lack of a 1500m placing is the key reservation.

Her latest eighth behind Iron, beaten eight and a half lengths, reads better than many of these despite the market having little interest. The previous sixth behind Ho O Parsons was also respectable enough for this grade, and she now gets a C3 drop while staying at the same trip. Meisho Haneuma had her measure last start, but she still rates as one of the main dangers.

Has finished sixth at her past two runs at this track, the better effort coming behind Seisui Carmen when beaten seven and a half lengths. She then weakened to be beaten over 19 lengths behind Sweet Laki after settling well back. Junki Mochizuki is a positive booking and her recent figures are not hopeless for this, but she profiles more as a place hope.

Has progressed through this campaign and now looks ready to make her mark fourth-up. Last start she improved to sixth behind Iron, beaten seven lengths, after staying in touch without threatening, and that followed a ninth behind Sun Road when unable to quicken. Her 1500m record is still bare, but the class drop and recent edge over Mitsukane Luna make her the clear horse to beat.

There is a clear recent-form knock after she was beaten out of sight behind Kleiner Riese last start and also tailed off behind Piko Reve two back. The counterpoint is stronger than most in this field: she is a track-and-trip winner, has the winning rider back, and owns one win and one place from ten runs at these conditions. That makes her a place chance if she rebounds.
