The step to 1200m is within her proven range, but she remains unplaced in five starts across the past 12 months and must lift markedly. Looking to others.

He had also been runner-up at Nanango when close in betting. This is harder than picnic grade, however, and his 1200m record shows more placings than wins. Harder grade is the sticking point.

Had an excuse at Eagle Farm last start, finishing last of six in an FM Benchmark 65 after racing wide throughout and not going on with it. She was slow away two back over 1000m and left herself too much to do, but her record at this venue and distance is a strong counterpoint. Weight relief helps, so she can rebound strongly.

Lifted to win a CG Class 1 at Sunshine Coast last start, coming from the rear and racing wide throughout before getting up by a nose over Keep It Real at big odds. That followed a plain Eagle Farm run on soft ground when unwanted in the market. Has place claims if that turnaround proves genuine in stronger company.

Ran second in an Open at Talwood last start, beaten just under two lengths when near the top of an open market. That was a better result than his Beaumont run two back, where he was beaten nine and a half lengths at big odds and could not launch a serious challenge. Blinkers come off and others look stronger.

Was safely held at Toowoomba last start in a Benchmark 65, finishing second last and beaten just over nine lengths after having the drop on the leaders but failing to quicken. His previous Benchmark 62 second at the same venue was much better, and he has won at this track before. Place at best.

Comes off a determined Benchmark 66 win at Grafton, where he was favourite and held off Battle Of Vienna by just over half a length. He had been honest at Sunshine Coast two back in a Class 5 over 1000m, keeping on for fourth on soft ground. Honest enough for the minors, though others have stronger win claims.
