Returned to winning form in an Open at Gold Coast, travelling just behind the speed and beating Flying Bat by just under a length on soft ground. His previous Class 6 run at this venue was plain after a slow beginning, so the draw out wide is not ideal. Wide draw and the prior plain run at this venue keep him to a place profile.

Resumed with a solid third at Toowoomba, beaten just over half a length by Mean Approach after being bumped at the start and covering ground. The run prior in a Quality at Rockhampton was better than eighth reads, with traffic from the 300m after jumping awkwardly. Win record is thin lately, so he profiles as a rough place chance.

Has finished eighth at both runs this campaign, most recently beaten just under four lengths by Metaphorically at Gold Coast after settling rearward with no clear excuse. His prior 1MW-LY run at this track was similar, though he did begin awkwardly and was near heels late. Strong 1400m record helps, but he has plenty to find.

Resumed with a determined win in a CG Benchmark 65 at this track, beating Quickzou by just over half a length after sitting handy and fighting on as a well-supported favourite. He gets weight relief from the 60.5kg carried there and has a solid place record around 1400m, even if the trip is not his strongest winning profile. The 1400m record is solid enough, and he looks the one to beat.

Finished powerfully to win a Benchmark 72 at Toowoomba, beating Galpin by just over a length despite being hampered early and bumped near the 300m. Two back at Doomben he was posted wide and battled away when unwanted in betting, so the latest effort was a better guide. Track-and-trip place record says include in exotics.

Returns from a lengthy spell after being last seen when tailed off at Yeppoon, where he became awkward in his action near the 800m and was eased out of the event. He has won a Deagon trial two weeks ago and his overall record is strong, with six wins from eleven starts. Strong old record, but the layoff makes him hard to trust.

Went close at Lismore last start, finishing second to At Witz End and beaten a neck in an Open after settling back and working home evenly. That followed a second-last finish in a Class 5 at Ipswich, so consistency is still the concern. The 1400m record is the concern, but he has enough form to chase a placing.

Had excuses when seventh at this track last start, held up around the home turn before finishing three and a half lengths from Becamo over 1800m. His previous Benchmark 70 third at Sunshine Coast was sound, sitting behind the leaders and keeping on over 1600m. Honest enough to be a place player.
