Produced a much better effort at Gundagai last start, travelling well and finishing second over 1800m on heavy ground, beaten a length and a half by Mayfair Hotel. That was a sharp lift on his Moruya ninth, where he was beaten over 16 lengths after racing keenly. Rough each-way hope.

Kept his form in reasonable order at Wagga last week, finishing sixth but beaten just over two lengths by Sorry Sunshine after holding his position to the turn. His Dubbo second over 2200m before that had more merit, with stewards noting he was restrained and had trouble getting clear. Strong chance if he gets clear late.
