Returns from a three-month break after finishing last in a 3yo+ Benchmark 88 at Rosehill on heavy ground, beaten just over nine lengths by Romeo's Choice. His previous Rosehill eighth over 1500m was more respectable, beaten just over three lengths by Emirate, but he was still at big odds. Distance record is strong, but recent form has to turn around.

Was eased back from Saturday company after finishing last in an Open at Eagle Farm, beaten ten lengths by Biancelli after jumping awkwardly and racing keenly. Two back he led in a small-field Open at Gold Coast and was run down late by Bring Me Kash over 1000m. Needs a sharp rebound.

Returns from a three-month break after an eighth in a Quality at Rockhampton, beaten just over two lengths by Demon Award, with the stewards noting he was held up near the 300m. His previous fifth in an Open at Gold Coast came on heavy ground when he faded late. Still needs to fire first-up.

Produced the right response second-up when beaten a long neck by Bonded Affair in a Class 5 at Sunshine Coast, despite being slow to begin before picking up strongly. His Doomben Open run prior is easy enough to forgive after he was slow away and raced wide. Extra 200m is the key query, but the form has bite.

Worked home soundly first-up at Sunshine Coast in a Class 4 over 1000m, finishing fifth and beaten just under five lengths by Jimmy's Brother after beginning awkwardly. His previous Eagle Farm sixth also showed he can make some ground without threatening. Needs luck from a rearward pattern, but place claims are real.

Drops out of Saturday company after finishing sixth in a 3yo+ Benchmark 72 at Rosehill, beaten three and a half lengths by Formal at big odds. Two back he was eighth behind Polyglot but was in restricted room near the 200m and still got home fairly. Needs to lift off recent placings, but this is a suitable target.

Was solid in Saturday company at Randwick when third to Decorum, beaten just over three lengths after being bumped at the start and shifting out near the 200m. That followed a long-neck second to Polyglot at Rosehill where he travelled well and closed off strongly. New state and jockey query keep him to an each-way rating.

Comes back from a Class 6 at Eagle Farm where he was third, beaten six and a half lengths by Fukubana after working home evenly as one of the better-backed runners. His Doomben NMW win two back was stronger, beating Mean Approach by a nose as a well-supported favourite. Last-start beaten favourite effort makes him more place than win.

Was far from disgraced in Saturday company at Eagle Farm last start, finishing fifth in a 1MW-LY and beaten two and a half lengths by Millane after making ground from well back. She had earlier won a Doomben Class 3 by two and a half lengths from Bluish Hue with a sharp finish. Third-up and proven at 1200m, she sets the standard.

Won a Benchmark 70 at Toowoomba last start, beating Kingsland by two lengths despite an awkward beginning and racing wide. The run prior was a narrow second here in a Benchmark 75 behind Miss De Medici when favourite, so the local form is genuine. Harder Benchmark 80 now, so he profiles as an each-way hope.

Was second last behind Irama in a Benchmark 70 at Toowoomba last start, beaten over 12 lengths after settling handy and finding little. His previous fourth here over 1000m was better, beaten a length by Shows A Sign at generous odds, but there was no clear excuse for the latest failure. Prior Toowoomba run was better, but he needs to rebound.

Led and boxed on evenly first-up at Doomben, finishing fifth to Gram and beaten four and a half lengths in Saturday company at big odds. The Roma Open run before the break was plain, especially after being heavily supported into very short odds-on territory. Needs to find more second-up.

Had some excuse when held up on the home turn before finishing sixth to Irama in a Benchmark 70 at Toowoomba, beaten just under five lengths. His Sunshine Coast fourth prior was honest enough at long odds, though still beaten just over five lengths. Still has to answer the 1200m question.

Was beaten three and a half lengths by Fire Bomber in a 3-4yo Benchmark 70 at Eagle Farm after beginning awkwardly and racing wide throughout. She also covered ground two back in a Benchmark 72 at the same venue when fourth to Neverenoughlego, beaten two and a half lengths. Still needs a stronger closing effort.

Resumed with a third in a Benchmark 65 over 1000m at Toowoomba, beaten three lengths by Mishani Extreme after settling back and being wide near the 250m. Her previous run was a second here in a Benchmark 70 behind Star Rapper, so she handles the track well enough. Harder grade now means she must improve again.
