Went within a long neck of Liberty Park in a Benchmark 78 at Doomben last start after being sent out favourite, and that Saturday-company form reads well for this easier assignment. He had also been beaten only a neck in a Class 5 at Doomben, so the recent pattern is reliable. Distance is the query, but the form is strong.

Comes back from an Eagle Farm NMW on soft ground where she was sixth, beaten four and a half lengths, after jumping awkwardly. The run prior at Doomben was better, beaten just over two lengths in another NMW when close in an open market. Recent sixths temper the winning case, but she has place appeal.

Missed by a nose at Toowoomba last start as favourite, with a bump in the straight adding some context without fully excusing the defeat. His previous win here over Madalsa was decisive, scoring by two and a half lengths, and his overall record is excellent. Honest profile, but this Benchmark 70 is a sterner test.

Had little go right in the Benchmark 78 at Doomben, beginning slowly and being held up before finishing fifth, beaten a length and a half behind Liberty Park. Two back he charged home at Eagle Farm in a Benchmark 85 and was beaten the same margin. Needs the breaks, but the class drop gives him an each-way case.

Was plain in a Class 6 at Gold Coast last week, finishing sixth and beaten just under six lengths at generous odds. Place hope.

Was better than sixth suggests at the Sunshine Coast, beaten just under two lengths after covering ground and being steadied near the 400m. His first-up Doomben run in a 3yo+ CG Class 3 was much weaker, but he had interference there as well. Third-up at a suitable trip, he can improve sharply.

Worked home into third at Toowoomba last start, beaten just over two lengths by Burleigh Magic after being held up approaching the 200m. That was a better effort than his second-last at Doomben, where he was big odds and made no impression after racing wide. Needs another lift.

Was safely held first-up at Toowoomba, finishing fifth and beaten five lengths behind Burleigh Magic, with only a late check offering limited mitigation. His previous Gatton run over 2000m was weaker again, beaten over 11 lengths after fading out of it. Needs to improve second-up.

Finished last at Toowoomba in a Benchmark 75 over 1300m last start, beaten eight lengths after beginning awkwardly and making no ground. Not here.

Resumed with a surprise Benchmark 65 win at Ipswich, coming from well back to beat Royal Gladiator by a neck despite jumping awkwardly. That was at 1350m, and her previous run over 1960m ended in a six-length defeat after racing keenly. The 1625m record is the main knock.

Returns from a five-week freshening after a luckless Benchmark 58 third at Toowoomba, where she was favourite, raced keenly and was held up twice before finishing under two lengths away. She had earlier chased The Louvre here and is proven over this track and distance. Track-and-trip record helps, but this is stronger.

Closed well from a slow start when fourth at Eagle Farm over 2200m, beaten two and a half lengths by Social Outcast in Saturday company. She now drops back sharply in trip, which is supported by a solid 1625m record, and this is easier than that latest assignment. Genuine place hope.

Was only tenth when resuming at Doomben, but the margin was just three and a half lengths in Saturday company and he did make some ground from well back after a bump at the start. He had won at Doomben over 2060m before the break, beating Watermelon as favourite. The 1625m is new territory but he was savaging the line fresh and Maloney's booking is a big push.

Made a sound return at Toowoomba in a Benchmark 75 over 1300m, finishing fifth and beaten just over two lengths after a slow start.

Finished strongly for fourth at Gold Coast in a Benchmark 65 last week, beaten just under a length after settling well back. She had also run third at Eagle Farm on soft ground, again closing from a long way off after starting favourite. Only has to hold her form to be right there again.

Put away a Benchmark 62 at Dalby last start, beating Lonergy by just under two lengths as a well-supported favourite after travelling just behind the lead. Her Ipswich run prior was sound enough after a slow start, and she has a strong overall record from limited racing. Wide draw and extra trip stop short of a stronger push.

Returns from a six-week freshening after finishing sixth at Ipswich in a Benchmark 65, beaten just under two lengths after racing prominently and battling on fairly. His run before that at Wellington in Open grade was a heavy defeat, beaten over 17 lengths on soft ground. Distance record helps, but recent form leaves him as a place-at-best hope.
