Trial was sound, but the sharp drop in trip is the query.

Had excuses when fifth over 1000m at Toowoomba last start, racing wide throughout before being beaten six and a half lengths, though he was unwanted in the market. His Ipswich sixth over 800m on soft ground was also plain. SCRATCHED.

Resumed with a solid fourth in a Class 3 at Sunshine Coast, beaten two and a half lengths at big odds after beginning awkwardly and making ground from well back. In the mix.

Turned his preparation around at Toowoomba last start, beating Butt Heads by just over half a length after tracking the speed and lengthening when it counted. The prior Class 3 run over 1000m had excuses after he jumped awkwardly, was bumped and forced wide. Holds a clear winning chance if he repeats that.

Has been racing consistently in Benchmark 70 grade at Toowoomba, finishing second to Irama last start, beaten two lengths, after tracking the lead and working home evenly. He was third here the run prior behind Centennial Park, again beaten just over two lengths. The track and distance profile is sound, but he must find a sharper winning edge in this deeper Benchmark 65.

Finished strongly from well back at Gold Coast last week when fourth, beaten just under a length by Exceed Perfection on good ground. That backed up her Eagle Farm third on soft ground, where she charged home from a long way back as the well-supported favourite. Blinkers go on and she looks ready to put it all together.

Returns from a one-month freshening after finishing second last at Doomben, beaten just over four lengths at long odds after fading late from a handy spot. Her previous Toowoomba sixth was also modest, beaten three and a half lengths after failing to quicken. Class relief helps, but recent form and the trip are clear concerns.

Was close enough to win at Ipswich last start but could not go on with it, finishing fourth and beaten two lengths in an open market. Two back she was third in a Class 1 at Murwillumbah, beaten a length and a half as favourite after being checked near the 400m. Winning edge is the question, but she suits the minors.

Broke through in a Benchmark 55 over 1110m at Toowoomba last start, beating Lady Willpower by a length after travelling well and finishing with authority from back in the field. She was only fifth in a Class 3 at Dalby before that, beaten six lengths, but did steady near the 500m. Extra ground is the query, but her local record is strong.

Eases back from Saturday company after finishing seventh in a 3-4yo Benchmark 70 at Eagle Farm, beaten three and a half lengths after jumping awkwardly and racing wide throughout. Her previous Benchmark 72 fourth at the same track was better than it reads, also at long odds and wide throughout. Better suited here and Michael Rodd back aboard is a plus.

Won a Benchmark 58 at Gold Coast last start, beating Excessor by a length and a half despite having work to do and covering ground. That followed a heavy defeat in an Open at Gympie, where she was beaten over 10 lengths after jumping awkwardly and racing wide without cover. The last-start win must be respected, but she still needs to lift again against this Benchmark 65 field.

Held on narrowly in a Benchmark 55 at Toowoomba last start, beating Water Lad by a nose as favourite after racing keenly early and laying in late. Before that she led and was only beaten half a length by Mondello in an FM Benchmark 55 at the same venue. Tougher now, but her recent local form keeps her in the mix.

Has twice gone close at Toowoomba this campaign, most recently second to Wanted Hillbilly and beaten just over half a length after travelling well. Harder here.

Resumed with a Dalby fourth, beaten four and a half lengths, and the stewards noted interference and that he was steadied near the 200m. Well drawn but faces stiffer competition.

Returns from a five-week freshening after disappointing as a well-supported favourite in a Class 2 at Beaudesert, finishing fourth and beaten just over seven lengths despite interference near the 900m. He had beaten Final Voyage by a length and a half in a Class 3 at Dalby the run prior and also has a Toowoomba win from one start. Dalby win two back gives hope, but he must bounce back hard.

Steps up from picnic company after finishing last in an Open at Goondiwindi, beaten over 12 lengths as favourite, with only an awkward-jumping note offered by stewards. His Toowoomba second two back was much stronger, beaten a nose by Fort William after travelling well despite some in-running issues. Beaten a nose here two back and suited at the track and trip.

Returns from a three-month break after failing as an odds-on favourite in a Class 4 at Toowoomba over 1625m, finishing fifth and beaten just over three lengths after early interference. He had been third here the start prior in a Benchmark 60 over 1640m, beaten just over a length as a well-supported favourite. Has Toowoomba form, but the 1300m record is a worry.
