Closed off strongly when fourth in a country Benchmark 82 over 1435m at Moruya, beaten three and a half lengths by Tavolo after covering ground and being steadied passing the 200m as one near the top of betting. She had been beaten a nose by Canny Queen at Kembla Grange after beginning slowly. The 1600m record is the query, but Canberra form and a 2kg claim give place claims.

Made it three wins from 12 starts when taking a country Benchmark 65 over this course on soft ground, beating Miss Stalwart by half a length despite being tightened shortly after the start and covering ground. His Scone second to Magic Merlin had also been sound after a slow beginning. Harder Benchmark 75 now, but 58kg and recent consistency make him a major player.

Second-up after finishing eighth in an Open over 1300m at Canberra, beaten just under four lengths by Hurry Miss after a slow start left her with work to do. Her previous run was plain when last in a Benchmark 66 over 2000m at Wagga.

Has been safely held in two runs this campaign, most recently seventh in a country Benchmark 66 over 1180m at Gundagai, beaten just under eight lengths on heavy ground after a slow start and wide work. He was 11th at Moruya the run prior after racing keenly.

Chased Feazabeel home at Canberra last start, finishing second in a country Benchmark 65 on soft ground and beaten half a length after jumping awkwardly. The Goulburn sixth before that reads better than it looks, with a hold-up near the 200m and only two lengths from Midnight Affair. Needs to turn the tables, but she is a live danger.

Did enough at Goulburn last time to stay in calculations, finishing fourth in a country Benchmark 66 and beaten just over a length by Midnight Affair after being held up around the 200m, also ahead of Miss Stalwart. That followed a big-odds fifth in an Open at Forbes when she began awkwardly but finished off. Clear running puts her in the place mix.

Was well beaten when second last in an Open over 1900m at Canberra Acton, with the wide run throughout some explanation but not enough to make the result appealing. The Canterbury sixth prior was also safely held despite a check near the 400m, and she was unwanted in the market.
