Applied pressure to the leader but had nothing left at the finish, sixth at Royal Randwick. Led narrowly, fought the race out bravely and unlucky to be swamped at Kembla Grange over 1200m. Maps well. Will get his chance.

Enjoyed a nice run in transit and kicked strongly to hold second 2.5L at Armidale Cl2 over 1300m. Pushed forward to sit with the leaders and gave everything to hold fourth 3.9L at Newcastle F&M Bm64 over 1250m Heavy 9. A winner second-up in the past, must regard.

Scooted home into third placing for an eye-catching run after settling back 1.7L at Inverell Bm58 over 1050m. Unleashed an impressive turn-of-foot to storm home to win 0.4L at Grafton Cl3 over 1030m Soft 6.
