Steward's Comments: Rdr permitted to ride 0.5kg over allocated weight. When questioned, rdr std he was able to obtain a position outside the lead in the early stages, whereby his mnt travelled satisfactorily, however it gave limited response when placed under pressure in the straight and over the final 200m did not feel entirely comfortable in its action. A post-race vet exam revealed the filly to be slow to recover. When questioned, tnr stated he had anticipated a forward showing from the filly, and in light of its disappoint.
