Finished the race off well for fourth but didn't threaten at Sportsbet Sandown Lakeside. Raced up on the pace and did a great job to hold second at Warrnambool. He looks ideally placed here to turn the tables on his rivals.

Steward's Comments: Began awkwardly. Near the 2500m raced in restricted room to the inside of The Storyteller (NZ) and was steadied. Jordan Hart rider of Highland Blaze was notified to ensure there is sufficient room to improve before he does so in future. Settled just off the pace and hit the line nicely for second at Warrnambool. Enjoyed a nice run on the pace and kicked clear to victory at Warrnambool. Impressive win last start and must be thrown into calculations.

Took over at the 400m however found one better when second 7L at Warrnambool Swp Hdle over 3200m Heavy 10. Fought hard to hold fourth position with the leaders but was no match 5.3L at Casterton Hdle over 3500m Soft 6.
